sweet! altho i still want to know wtf yoli did with all the old gkts when i bought her new ones. (i know, not the most popular npc weapon, but it doesn't have a single aoe ws, so yoli cannot wake up any of the pile of mobs i've pulled by accident/had to sleep) hopefully she spent it on sushi and not on some of the sillier gear she puts on.
They don't have AoE weaponskills anymore, so if you wanted to choose another weapon but were afraid of AoE's, then your safe to do it now.Originally Posted by rrynn
Also according to the NPC quests she sells em to the shop >_____>
People still bitch about NPCs 'ruining' exp spots?
At any given time in the game there are at least 2-3 camps to conduct EXP in across all levels. If someone encroaches on your camp and you determine its no longer worth staying there - LEAVE then or drive them out.
Good Grief, its like the entire playerbase forgot that there are out of the way camps that are viable where no one will bother you with their npcs (unless they are out to harass you). All the bitching over the precious colibri/imps is rediculous when most ToAU camps are on 5min repop timers and most ToAU alternative camps are viable with any shred of a competent party. 'Oh noes, the npcs will ruin TOAU - it must be nerfed more!'
Seriously... if it were still 16min dungeon timers i may have understood the arguement but good grief its not like NPCs arent super limited already and heaven forbid people get some subpar solo EXP per day.
Congratulations SE, more content I really don't give a flying wamoura shit about.Originally Posted by LD

i hope they finally add the new gear for fellow npcs in this update (and fix the current gear-changing problem).
Remember how when you were levelling your npcs and doing the limit breaks, they'd only activate the quests after you'd reached some "level of relationship" determined by how often you brought them out, and adversely affected by how often you let them die, etc?
So anyone who uses their npc for more difficult things has probably let them die a large number of times.
Good luck on reaching the "relationship level" needed to unlock 66+.
Do they lose relationship when you die and they disappear? Or when you warp? Or when they die? And if so how much? I abuse the shit out of mine.Originally Posted by Alistaire
From what I remember:
Do they lose relationship when you die and they disappear? yes
Or when you warp? no since they can zone now
Or when they die? yes
And if so how much? nobody ever really tried to measure it that I saw
I was under the impression NPC bond cannot be lost except by tossing your SIGNAL pearl? Or is that outdated?
My NPC dies a hell of a lot <_<;
Not outdated, that was the other thing, if you toss your signal pearl you basically restart your relationship level. But them dying does piss them off.Originally Posted by Raen Ryong
Tossing signal pearl doesn't wipe fellow affinity, but it does hurt it significantly.
As for NPC death... it's a non-issue. If you do lose affinity on a death, I think it's probably <= to the affinity you gain from a successful call (where they don't die). So unless you are only calling them to die, you should be fine.
