Thinking about getting a Blackberry. Need input

I got rid of my old PDA phone(Verizon XV6700) to get the new enV when my contract was up and now I'm starting to wish I got another PDA phone. The only problem is that Verizon's PDA phones are kind of....lacking? lol. My buddy Max has the Blackberry 8830 World Phone(sprint) and I was playing around with it for an hour or two last night and I have to say I was impressed. I was hoping some of you guys had/have a Blackberry and could give me some pros/cons on them. Any info is much appreciated.

i have one (a pearl) i dont really like it, id prefer an enV but im stuck in that new every 2 thing

its slow, the keyboard sucks, it takes forever to boot up from cold, and the sound audio some times sucks (lotsa reverb)

Don't like it, I don't see the extreme need to send e-mails on the move. I only see it as those people who must absolutely recieve every e-mail to function.

Otherwise get a nice, cheaper, small phone.

I was thinking of buying this phone because I ain't spending $500 for an Iphone, is this a good phone to get or will it be a bad idea. From the looks of it it seems it selling like

If you liked your friend's BB and want one, I would recommend the Curve that just came out for Verizon not too long ago. It has my favorite keyboard on any PDA-type phone I've had so far (compared to the BlackJack, Moto Q9h, LG Voyager) and the size of the phone is great (not too big, not too small).

Cool, thanks for the input. I was talking with a buddy and he said that Blackberry's touch phone(The Thunder) will be out in September so I might wait until then and check it out.
