Sleepga and silence, yes, but if this is the first low man attempt it could be rather risky in comparison to alternatives.

Iirc 259 wanders all the way down there too, I know I've gotten 3 statues on that pull before.
Wow at those prices I'd rather see the ores sold and funds used to generate free runs; But I guess each shell does it differently.
In a way somewhat sad that salvage upgrades are now being determined by dynamis events.
Don't use dots on paladins, sleep and switch target on 2h. Especially with low-man, you should be coordinated enough to pull this off.Originally Posted by Wizerd
Shouldn't be wasting time with THF or PLD mobs until the end before MNK or NIN.Originally Posted by aurik
Ah that's a good point. We've done that before, and it works nicely.Originally Posted by aurik
Nah, far better to go PLD until 2h->othermob->PLD. Gets rid of the 2H without having to wait, and prioritizes killing the mob most likely to resist further sleeps.Originally Posted by Xrave
Agreed. In our larger group, we usually just switch jobs when PLDs 2hr anyway and often someone sleeps them, regardless of people swinging. I don't think many of the mobs get DOTs anyway since most last less than 10-20 seconds.Originally Posted by aurik
The whole dia-don't dia thing will be more important with just 3 melee, as mobs will last longer.Originally Posted by Wizerd
I do agree it's better, but in larger groups when people never listen except for the initial call, I try to avoid the PLD and THFs until last.Originally Posted by aurik
Subject: Re: Wootz Ore and Lowman Dyamis Bastok
I think if I had someone not listening in an 8-man group I would have one of the BLMs d2 them without a thought. You're only as strong as your weakest player in a small group. With Wootz at like 300k on my server, we'd need 4 to pay for the run. Gogo lowman Bastok, haha.
