Also, in that FIFTY minute interview, Paps was quoted as calling Mariano the godfather of closers, so I mean... it's not like he disrespected Mariano or anything. He just felt qualified for the position. There's nothing wrong with that.

When was this? if so, then yea that's going overboard, but I don't get the generalization. Paps comes off as a prick and he also happens to be pretty good (although 4 other closers have been better this year) so whining about Yankee fans booing him is kinda lame shit. This argument sucks balls anyhow.
