Most importantly, the bullpen is 48-1 when leading after 7 innings. The one loss there is Joba's.

The Yankee bullpen was terrible to begin with, but they've been very hot recently. Go look up the stats in the last month+, it's all true.
Wow. Really? Sorry about then. I was just looking at some of their ERA's, and I guess that's what got to me. Didn't know where I could go to see Relief Pitching numbers from June 1st on. Fromw hat you said, that sounds pretty good then. Also, Farnsworth has actually gone 10 appearances without giving up a hit, so pretty darned good. Marte will help the bullpen out some though for sure.

Edit: Nevermind. That ends tonight. He gave up a couple hits. Still, pretty impressive considering how inconsistent he can be at times.

Yeah of course I jinx it and he gives up a base hit and a dinker infield single.

It's cool though, I don't watch Braves games so it's not like I can comment about their bullpen. Right now the Yankee bullpen is 2nd in ERA, 2nd in BA against, and 7th in runs allowed. Not bad considering how poor they started.

Yeah. Not bad at all. Braves bullpen isn't too bad either, but not in the Top 5 across the board. Their starter ERA is really good though, and considering they are missing 3/5ths of their projected starting rotation, I'd say that's pretty damn good. Campillo, Morton on occasion, Reyes (3-9 sure, but he's pitched a lot better than that) are really stepping up. Jurrjens though has been a HUGE surprise.

Yeah, I've been lurking on there from time to time since you suggested it to me earlier in this thread. Everyone on there is so knowledgeable I don't have anything to add yet!

6th in ERA in the majors(4th in AL)
    1st in K's
    2nd in BAA
    1st in WHIP
    2nd in OPS against
ERA is meh, but that's expected when you have two guys with ERA's over 5 (both aren't with this team; Hawkins is, but he should be getting the axe soon)

It's heavily moderated, you won't get shit for not knowing what you're talking about (unless you really don't know what you're talking about)

Yeah, I guess they are pretty good, but Mariano makes up a lot. Farnsworth is overachieving this year imo.

Braves just scored 9 runs in the 4th on Cole Hamels in support of Mike Hampton. First... I can't believe the Braves have gone back to back nights with huge innings ilke these. Second.. I'm surprised Hampton didn't injure himself while warming up.

Lidge also gave up 5 runs without getting an out last night. I can't even bear to watch these guys right now they are playing so bad.

And spoke to soon. At least Hampton didn't leave with an injury! That's a plus I guess, but still. Bullpen came in and stunk it up, giving up all those runs. Tons of runs in today's game. Come on Bravos. Don't blow this. =[

I was amazed when I saw Hampton on mlb gameday, I thought it was an error or something lol. Guy hasn't pitched since what, 2005? Looked good there but wow... Phillies showin some heart by coming back again.

He looked good for a guy who hasn't pitched in the Majors since 2005, sure... but not enough sadly. Braves have left 5 runners on in the past two innings> can't do that. D:

Marte hit 96 and 97 in the Ortiz AB. He was probably amped up and knew he was facing one batter and let it loose..but fuck, lefty throwing that hard along with a sweeping slider? pfft.

Yeah, that's what they got him for and he struck him out on 4 pitches. Really great pickup. Remains to be seen what Nady will be like, hard to judge his at-bats against a knuckleballer.

Goddamnit Ryan Braun is a sexy beast.

Brewers are now tied for the NL-best record. Cubs just can't solve the Marlins.

Fren or Ceph, did either of you catch Friday's game on YES? I'm just curious as to whether or not NESN let's other stations use the feed from their camera directly behind the pitcher, or if they only give access to the feed from the edge of the bleachers (the view that FOX had today.)

He is a beast for sure. 27 homers this year.. he's putting on a great performance and helping his Brew Crew to the top of the division.

I say with Sabathia, they win the Central. Cubs getting Harden was nice and all, but if he can't go longer than 5-6 innings, then the Brewers definitely got the better deal with Sabathia. He can go 7+ innings almost every time (with what..3 straight complete games now?) and still strike out 7+ guys. Sure, I know Harden has struck out 10 in all three of his appearances, but he can only go 5-6 innings for risk of injuring himself again. That won't cut it. Sure, he could be having a stellar afternoon, but leaving the last 3-4 innings up to the bullpen in every start of his isn't very good. As a stud pitcher, you're supposed to NOT tax your bullpen. D:

As far as I remember, they had the main view in center, a view from the right side, and a top-down look at the plate to replay balls and strikes. Other than that I don't remember any other views.
