It's still pretty good in Southern California from what I remember too, mostly because of places like Balboa Family Fun Center.

Wow. The only anime I know from that company is Speed Racer. So count me in on the clueless part when this one comes out. Anyone know of anymore info on the game? Are they still in the process of starting to make the game or are they in the middle of it?

the only ones I've seen are speed racer, robotech, and samurai pizza cats, but not a die hard fan of any. Most were only because they were the only things on with my limited choices of 7 channels way back when.

Still some decent arcade places in Seattle, thanks to the International District. We have a Gameworks (yay overpriced trash), and some smaller ones on the waterfront that have the usual caca. But the one in the international district has oooooooooooooooooooooold school fighting games, along with some newer ones (Guilty Gear anyone plx). But, yeah.. I grew up in arcades, all the ones around here got shutdown 'cause black folk like to deal drugs in arcades it seems, since EVERY SINGLE ARCADE THAT USED TO BE HERE WAS SHUTDOWN BECAUSE OF DRUG DEALERS! :<

Yes, that's right. Every single drug dealer in Seattle is a black person. Ignore the 56% asian population.

Edit: I miss Killer Instinct and Marvel vs. Capcom 2.

The model for Ryu looks like it's ripped polygon for polygon from Street Fighter IV, though Capcom reusing sprites in their fighting games is certainly nothing new.

Also, ew @ midair fireballs, I already fear for this game's combat system.

Ryu's been shooting midair fireballs since X-Men vs Street Fighter. Of course it's a matter of debate as to whether we want a return to that series' fight systems/mechanics.

Midair dashes are fine in my book though.
