AU started slow, it just had certain aspects to keep interest.
I am hoping they start in with some epic storylines soon.

I'm rewriting this for the sake of how it reads so the cynical whitemage. Added/rewritten parts are in bold.

^Hey look, its a picture for the confused player thread.
The next version up date will usher in a number of new additions to the Campaign system, as well as several changes to existing elements. But the beastmen strong hold area's will still suck because they're a pain in the ass to get to. There are no plans to adjust this at this time.
Physicians
A new group of NPCs known as physicians will be introduced to both sides of the Campaign lineup, serving dutifully to heal and tend to their battle-wounded allies. We've realized that no one outside of a retarded monkey tries to heal other players in campaign when they need it. Therefore to help alleviate the suck when we make monsters stronger, we've put in NPC's to heal for you. Watch as they, like other players, do nothing but attack the incoming beastmen and only raise others once 10 minutes have passed.
Medals
Currently, the most distinguished medal available in commendation of a character's meritorious service in the name of Altana is the "Useless Temporary Key Item".The next version update however, will see an expansion of the medal system, and with it a total of four new medals to recognize even greater wastes of time. Accordingly, new and more difficult Campaign Ops will also be introduced, as well as several new items obtainable through exchange for Allied Notes; the campaign ops will never be available and the items will all be rare/ex and marginal at best over current equipment that can be sold.
I think it's because the novelty has worn off and people have better things to do.Originally Posted by Serjero

Eh it's back and forth. Sometimes i'll see a mass of friendly units in grauberg, (ive counted 56 npc at once, was a lagfest). other times, we'll get reamed. Adelheid and her crew will be the only ones and every single shadowxxx group will have come along with No'Mho and destroy everything. That seems likely, but it should be ok. Places like Fort K-R usually have 6-7 units killing things in 30 seconds and nobody can get any xp lol.
Do it elsewhere for the love of god.Originally Posted by shukuffxi
Hope new ops will give some better rewards that 540 exp per one (looking at current ones it's 100 exp increase for next op and new op appearing each 2 ranks).
Or at least there'll be Iron Anvil V not disappering from list constantly!
Oh bollocks you're right.Originally Posted by Rocl

No, I think the issue is so far the rewards have not been worth the effort and that's why people are tired of it. If SE would put in some good armor and weapons, people will return time and again. I love Campain.Originally Posted by spooky
The trick is to go for the contested areas. For one MM is almost always under Yag attack on my server and battles happen 3-4 a hour, sometimes more.Originally Posted by terranova
What's with the influx of Fluxes? -_-
Kinda wish he'd come back so we'd only have one person spouting ridiculously negative horseshit.
When afk hitting a Fort I bring /DRK sub so the WHMs can get cure points from souleater - am I not nice?

^.^ I can finally use some of those AN, thought being forced to do campaing to retain the rank is still silly.
I'm guilty of that too. (As well as making people wait on me for things because zomg besieged IS!)Originally Posted by Xanthe

Bravo here. The physicians sound like they will be a welcome addition. One of the most annoying aspects of Campaign are the healers. I can't count how many times I am in red HP and a whm just stands there, meleeing a mob instead of helping. Even worse is when I die and the whm continues to hammer away (pun intended) at the mob while I lie waiting for a Raise...
Don't blame the healers, blame the fact healing you sucks ass for points.Originally Posted by Toth
According to that list on the wiki, unlike damage done and damage taken, it caps.
still it's nice to see an altruistic mage every once and a while.Don't blame the healers, blame the fact healing you sucks ass for points.
but you know what, forget it! they've been replaced with cold, yet efficient medical bots! (at least I hope they'll be efficient)
