And also, dumbing down the game? Are you trying to tell us that exp parties are hard?
Hint: He wasn't talking about leveling.
Well, if he's talking about the suggestion to buy good items with an obscene amount of allied notes, then it'd be more pertinent if he suggests an alternate means of advancement that doesn't involve grinding or HNM camping.

Where are these so called Siege Turrets?

NPC leaders need adjusting in my opinion.I just watched the Samurai NPC Noillurie, Meikyo Shisui deal 6 skillchains averaging 1500-2200 each killing a full HP mob in under 30 seconds?

More enemy armies would be good to.

Need to make Beauc and Xarc a big dynamis like battle, good respawn rates, constantly enemies in there, the kind of thing that would take a concerted effort to work through... mainly just a big roiling chaotic battle.

If you could only find some way to get besieged type mob levels without it being as much of a lagfest.

I agree more armies for a greater variety of enemies would be fun, but as for nerfing allied generals, no thanks. They need to be that strong to stand a chance when there only a handful of pcs in a battle or no pcs at all.

If Allied leaders need a nerf, beastmen leaders need a nerf just as badly. Beastmen leaders are ridiculously strong.

Re: New Additions and Changes to Campaign (05/22/2008)

Yeah, I was kind of burned out on campaign when those were added due to running out of things worth spending time campaigning to merit, being stuck on holyknight forever, and no sign of new ranks on the horizon.

Looking forward to getting back into it again though, now that I've had a medal lapse finally, I need to get it back and be ready to rank up asap after the update.

I'll have to try out La Vaulle, I never really went into it except to explore around and note what could be a decent couple of merit spots (except as was later noted, too many Pld's) and see what they had changed.

The Imp's were an unpleasant surprise, because I was going down a tight pass and turned a corner to find one sitting there, bastard true sight and all, getting ready to -ga III me, with orcs down any path I could go through. T.T

La Vaulle is nice because you dont run past any imps to get to the battles. Only problem is you need alot of areas under sandy control or else campaign wont happen there. It's pretty much campaign on "hard mode" which sucks because theres rarely any people out there.

Windy tends to kick a lot of ass, and War/Dnc is much better at beating up Yags than Orcs... I'll have to check out Castle O sometime.

Orcish Counterstance owns the shit out of me, since I'm blood tanking and must get TP to survive.

It only helps so much, and if I can't hit them I can't kill them, and Orc Cstance is wtfborked.

Well if the Yags decide to take off your weapon you lose TP anyway. XP

And yeah I hate O.Counterstance. I've krakened myself to death many times with that. >.>

Re: New Additions and Changes to Campaign (05/22/2008)

Yeah, but I have a macro set up for Retaliation that I'm spamming regularly, and it equips my weapon/grip if they get stripped.

Yags are wimpy enough that it isn't a problem, cause I can still get enough TP to get by, now if Gigas did it, they would tear me up, they're a close solo, but doable.
