AV video as a teaching tool, not as a linear fight sequence.

I take my rep very seriously. I read bg daily, and understand the consequences of making stupid av posts in advanced. If i get banned because of this, then i'll assume it was my own undoing. all my ingame friends think i shouldnt post it, but im doing this because damnit, if i dont, Im not going to be able to sleep at all.

The AV video was specifically shown to you guys in a certain order to show you certain things. its a complete breakdown of a teaching tool

All you guys whining and bitching about clocks and day changes need to think outside the box a little bit. Its the same fight, but its edited, because each part is dedicated to a different aspect of the fight.

the first part shows the blms nuking the same element according to the day. The reason they were doing tier IV's then tier I's then tier II's had nothing to do with some kind of pattern. its because they wanted you to really pick up on it, and a chat log full of text with

Player A casts blizzard on absolute virtue
is giving you the answer that "hey guyz, the nuking is the important part in this section"

the reason you dont see nukes anywhere else is because square enix didnt want ppl to get confused with the chat log thinking they were showing you something they werent. it wasnt that they couldnt have been nuking, it was that they were showing you some other hint on how to deal with its 2hours, so thats all you saw in the log.


He can only steal 2 hours from ppl in the alliance if they had it available. watch the videos, every time he uses a 2hour, someone just happens to have the same corresponding 2hour to burn. even when he uses call wyvern, out of the 4-5 ppl that 2hour, theres a drg that uses call wyvern right after. the reason you see 304830 ppl 2 hour near the start but only a few near the end is SE is trying to get you to pick up on the fact that ppl had 2hours > av 2houred one of their abilitys > they 2houred to show you that in the log. when av uses call wyvern, only like 5 ppl 2hour. One is the drg, its to help us narrow down why exactly did he do that specific 2hour. Because it matched a player. He 2houred because he had 1 to choose from. he just happened to choose the one you saw. they didnt 2hour to prevent anything, as you see AV still performed maidens virilai and chaincasted aeroga IV. they 2houred as a teaching tool to show you why he 2houred. because AV had one to pick. they spammed the chat logs with 2hours to really make you pick up on the fact that he stole a 2hour. I mean he even says when you spawn him, "show me, by what principles thou art driven" which means show him your 2hour or hes gonna fuck you up with it if you sit on it.

When it shows AV readies chainspell, it means that someone in the alliance just then had their chainspell become available, its a warning to get rid of it or he will use it within the 30 second timeframe that he can use 2hours. SE reset the players 2hours basically just to show you what to do. that part was hacked by SE, or else you would reach one of 2 incorrect conclusions
A. this fight takes over 5 hours to beat easily, as it wouldnt be explained why it was 2 hours game time later that they gave you another 2hour clip showing you the same hint.

or

B. that AV can give you your 2 hours back. which it cant. the reason you see them 2 hour multiple times within 2 hours is because they purposely want you to focus on why he 2houred, not when he 2houred.

The third section deals with call wyvern. and how to deal with that. He will use one time no matter if you have a drg in the alliance or not. Flee the wynavs away with a rdm/thf to outside parties.

the final part shows them killing it, stop worrying about what jobs they had and the fact that there was 1 sam, 1 drg, yadayadayada... the reason it shows no chat log in this part is because they're telling you, follow these 3 things , and you'll kill it, thats all you need to know.

im still trying to figure out whether this is for real or not. like even on a day when there wasent an entire newly created thread about AV which is questionable in its own respect straight up on the top of the front page of advanced this would be hard to believe. There are tons of theories on how to beat AV, and without people going into more theories and trying them, we will never find out. Why can this not be the way to defeat AV? Discuss, plan and try and then derail if it was a stupid idea. Otherwise give theories their respect of being theories.
