I think misuicide was trying to get a BG check on Ikar (and not his gear) and since Ikar wasn't a member of the midgard server i have no clue why so many ppl from midgard have to add their 2 cents here.

Other than that i just see a bunch of envious people trying to bring up some weird connection with ambition and ikar and his gear which is just plain stupid and has nothing to do with the actual topic of this thread.

If so, perhaps the hacker could use some gear that makes sense on an Aegis / Excalibur Paladin... or any paladin for that matter.

Well, if it is Ikar, and the remoran holder of the account that I had the displeasure of knowing, I would like to say a few words.

For the fun stuff first, this is the excalibur+aegis pld who wiped to genbu from what I understand.

I had the mixed experience of him being a member of HCII, a dynamis linkshell on Remora, where I have been participating for the last 3'ish years, now co-administrating with 2 friends. He was a member for quite a while (joined late november 06, I think we removed him around june/july 07, in hindsight, should've done it a lot sooner due to incompetance).

We had problems with him afk'ing a fair bit during runs, and not paying attention too much, wether there was a language barrier or if he just couldn't be arsed to pay attention often is unclear to us. We were not superimpressed with his abilities, but he was not awful enough to warrant a kick at the time.

The LS secured both the attestation and the fragment for his sword, spending several runs killing the attestation NM.
Shortly thereafter, he approached the administrative group of the LS about sponsoring, as he had a fair bit of currency to go, we declined, as the LS had enough sponsors, and we wished to further increase the amount of currency the LS members could lot, rather than add more sponsors. Needless to say, he was not superenthused.
Strangely enough, it took him a very short time after that to actually complete the weapon, with shield following rather quickly.

not many runs after, we had a horrible xarcabard runs where things weren't going our way, and as our policy has always been, if people aren't wearing RR, they will eat what raises are practically available. We got a very messy link, and most of us went down for the count. As we started raising people, he refused to eat a raise1, insisting on a raise3. We made it clear to him that this was not optional, yet he continued refusing to take a r1. We informed him that he would either take a r1 or HP and not return to HCII. He chose to HP, which needless to say, resulted in his immediate removal from LS.
Relic weapon be damned, we will not tolerate behaviour like that.

I am, of course, biased by the fact that we spent a fair deal of time and resources on securing the attestation and fragment for his weapon, not to mention the other armor he got from us during dyna, and he chose to return the favour in the way he did. But my general opinion of Ikar is pretty low, both with regards to his behaviour, and with regards to his skill.

If you want to flaunt an Aegis/Excalibur PLD in your LS, by all means, but I would not rely on him for much. (I'll appreciate anyone making sure he stays the hell away from Remora so I do not have to see his visage around though.)

If it's not the original Ikar, then I am afraid I can be of little help.

(adding: the original Ikar could well be the one described here and in the relic thread, he became known on remora for being rather lost )
