    Itunes store "issues"

Hey i have some songs that i bought from the itunes store and dammit i wanna play them on my 360. Some music is meant to be heard loud ^_^. Anyway i've looked around and a lot of the solutions seem old, like from 2005. Anything newer with a simple GUI out there that'll do the trick? thx

Burn them to CD, rip the CD to regular MP3, profit?

Depends on how many tracks you have really.

Isn't there an option in itunes to burn the files to CD as MP3s? Shit, I can't remember. At work at the moment. Or maybe it wont let you burn the ones you purchased. Fuckin itunes, I've always done it the way the above poster stated, but it's a pain in the ass.

You can't burn straight to MP3 from AAC (iTunes does let you burn discs of MP3s, etc, just doesn't convert formats or removed DRM), but if you burn it to audio CD and then turn around and rip it, iTunes happily slaps all the metadata right back onto it. You don't need to rename the tracks or whatever.

True, you do technically lose a little fidelity that way, but if you honestly cared much about that you wouldn't be buying compressed music in the first place.

Wow that's pretty sick, have you tried it yet? Seems like there's gotta be a catch.

Yeah it's easy as hell and so far no catch or weirdness or anything. You can even share stuff with friends if they have it. No add-ons or toolbars or anything. Go figure, people who arent trying to screw ya.
