Couldn't find anything on search for this...

I know the none of these link and the next aggros with the previous 2hrs (e.g. fighting Spring and it 2hrs, Summer awakens). My questions are...

Order is MNK > NIN > DRK > WHM > MNK > ...

1) If say the MNK uses 2hr (awakening NIN), then you wipe to MNK. When you restart, you can now kill MNK w/o awakening NIN since 2hr was used already?

2) If you say kill the MNK then wiped. What if you then attacked WHM? When WHM Benes, the next in line is dead... so nothing will aggro at 2hr?

3) I heard a rumor that these do not regen when unclaimed. Any confirmations or denails of this?

4) Do these run faster than normal?

The trees don´t have increased movement. If you finish off a tree without it using 2hr (like combined nuke at 30%) the next tree will not aggro for a while.

That´s all i can confirm for now even tho I did it a couplo times

I believe when you re-pull, you will get both mnk and nin. If not, then you are correct.

Again, I believe you will get whm and nin in this case. If not, then you are correct.

If you can manage to kill whm without benediction, then nothing will be activated and you can choose your next target freely. If you then pull the drk, nothing will activate when it uses blood weapon.

They do regen when unclaimed, so if you wipe, you will have to start at 100% again. They will not, however, regain their 2h.

4) Do these run faster than normal?

No


Other stuff:
- monk tree is an asshole
- to my experience, they do not increase in difficulty as the other trees are killed. In my personal experience, damage/accuracy on the last tree seems about the same as the first.
- however, occasionally one of the trees will be a real bitch. This may vary by ingame season?
- monk tree is an asshole
- I like going nin->drk->whm->mnk, which is counter the "common wisdom"
- each tree seems to have some weakness. I know for a fact that the mnk tree is fantastically easy to nuke with thunder.
- they build resist to sleep fairly quickly.
- monk tree is an asshole. If you are thinking of soloing this as sch, do not get hit, because you will be stunned and killed before you can react.

We used to do this one pretty often, aur, so he knows the behaviors of the mobs. I believe the questions he's asking atm.... sound like little details that we never dealt with (wiping and re-pulling, etc) because sounds to me like he's planning a solo attempt.

Aurik is right. I just tried this and when you repull, everything that had previously aggroed comes again.

Also MNK caught me and I died instantly (no exaggeration...). Should be soloable still in my opinion though.

Another quick question.

What HP% ish does the NIN use mijin? Is it only very low? After 50%? After 33%? etc.

All ninja mobs with access to mijin gakure use it between 0-30% health.

Except in the case of an asshole Dynamis - Jeuno goblin NM who rolled his dice, restored his HP to 100%, then Mijin'd... What is it with these MNK and NIN mobs being assholes?

Oh, very true. I think there's just a flag whether or not the mob has crossed the 30% HP threshold which opens up the WS. Benediction / goblin dice doesn't reset the flag, which makes bene-mijins delicious.

I think it's similar to how bees won't use final sting until a certain percentage.
