if you admitted you'd been banned before and they saw it, thats all the evidence they need. they don't have to prove that the account is originally yours or anything, I assume in lieu of the TOS edit that allows them to do even more whatever the fuck they want. its why i'm very careful about what i say ingame, I try to talk on messaging clients or ventrilo only

Noob internet question probably, but can't they IP match? As part of proving account ownership with all the compromised accoutns they are asking for the IP addresses you mainly used to play on your char before it was taken.

Also is levelling lots of mules for lottery a bit like rmt activity to them @@

No they can't. Here in Germany, most people still have dynamic IP addresses with DSL or cable that change every 24 hours at least. So yeah, ban me for something somebody else did a week ago with the IP address I currently have. Bad idea.

The only suspension I have ever received was not because of botting or anything, was because I posted something that had a line break into say by mistake and some cock sucker GM'd me. Only took a day for them to suspend so I can tell you for a fact you might have been suspended if someone gm'd you.

I don't believe all of the rubbish about people being banned for saying they had a previous char banned. I do however believe that SE has grown much more responsive to the community, so if the gilsellers report you 8000 times and no one reports them once, thats a lot of substantial evidence against you rather then them.
