is anyone else besides me crossing their fingers and praying to the gods that this turns out to be fact? From reading a lot of the RPG threads seems like there's a decent following of people here that really enjoyed the game.

The first game was just so amazing and so overlooked by many, i really hope if they do decide to make a sequel that they don't fuck it up (which is why im hoping its on xbox360/ps3, rather it be a normal RPG then have them try and make some lame wii gimmick and potentially fuck everything up)

I borrowed the gamecube version of SoA from a friend and although I didn't complete it I got pretty far and it was a great game to play. If this sequel stuff is true then I am going to have to re-borrow and complete it this time :/

Shane Bettenhausen from the 1Up network interviewed the lead guy from Valkyria Chronicles/Skies, and he said he'd love to do another Skies as well, so I'm really hoping this happens.

An interview with some Atlus people also said that some of them would love to bring the Suikoden1+2 PSP port over.

i been trying to pick up chrono trigger since it like came out and still havent gotten around to it. But im keeping my fingers crossed they announce soa2 at the TGS. [-o< [-o< [-o<

SoA also had one of the best game soundtracks ever, first OST I ever purchased even though I could've easily downloaded the MP3s. It's a shame the quality got butchered on the Gamecube version, though. Gah, just thinking about the game makes me want to go play through it again, but I have such a huge gaming backlog that only gets bigger thanks to FFXI.
