When I was talking to the lady at Wal-Mart the other day, I asked her if there was an extended warranty I could buy. She said there was, it was like $18 but didn't cover accidents. I assumed you could buy it in-store. She didn't say I couldn't. That's weird. I also grabbed the father's day ad. It states in plain letters "ANY BLUE RAY PLAYER WILL RECIEVE A $100 GIFT CARD". If they give you any flack, I'd grab the ad and ask the manager why one playstation3 Blue Ray player falls into the "any" category, and one doesn't. They are both the same damn system. As I said, the folks at my wal-mart said it comes with it. I could just have the hicktown USA wal-mart who doesn't know shit.

I'll call wal-mart, will edit in a sec. I'll be pissed if I can't buy the warranty.

Edit: Lady said it'll be $17.88 and you can buy it when you pick up the system.

I want to say it's a 3 year warranty, I didn't ask when I just called. I think it covers any manufacturer issues, moisture build-up, all that crazy stuff. Just doesn't cover it you drop and and break it into a million little peices from what I understand. I asked her if they put them out yet, and she said they're still locked up in the cages in the back. woot woot.

on a side note, was in best buy yesterday daydreaming that the 40gigs were MGS4 bundles, when I noticed the shopping cart next to me was full of the MGS4 special edition bluetooth headsets. looks like best buy will carry those.

I know they have 6, but I also know that quite a few people have called about them. I live about 5 minutes from walmart, so I'll probably call about 8 or 9pm and see if anyone is waiting it out yet. I plan on around 10pm unless people actually start showing up.
