Why would you need a code for those <_<
Anyone who's played MGS 1 will find the MK 23 easily, and Mosin-Nagrant can just be bought with Drebin Points

I asked that too, but a friend pointed out the fact that you'd have them BEFORE getting to the Mk.2 and if that's true then it's very worth it.
So, played thru all the rest of the series...
I think as an "experience" Guns of the Patriots is definitely tops, but as a game, Snake Eater wins. The boss fight with The End alone is one of the coolest fights ever (though it's one of those things that's really only has the impact the first time around).

Hell, all the sniper bosses are like this heh. Sniper wolf/Crying wolf/End.
The fight with The End was not like either of those for me... not even close really.
Especially since there's so many ways to "win" the fight.
With the other two it's just shoot them until they die.
That's what I was referring to, I didn't compare the fights.Originally Posted by Krandor

This was my point, there are so many ways to win the fight with The End, when you finally do it, it feels so rewarding since you get that feeling of "yeah I figured it out". First time I played I eventually used the Fake death pill to draw him in, then chased him thru the forest with a shotgun.Originally Posted by Exoduso

stop your bitching, admire this for its awsome. thats all this was, if not more.
although, [spoiler:2zcmff8g]i was a sad panda when snake did not die. i really expected it to end like that.[/spoiler:2zcmff8g]
In a world where genetic research has advanced to the point where an entire populace can be turned into super-soldiers, where cancer is kept in check and body tissue regeneration can be accelerated to the point of near invulnerability, can anyone explain to me why the hell Snake's DNA can't undergo gene therapy and be fixed? The thought occurred to me, I just don't get it.
Who knows, maybe because Dr. Clark was so awesome the DNA strand she created can't be touched.
Godzilla, etc.
Finished the game last night....awesome shit. Question tho...when Snake puts the gun in his mouth and fires does that shit exit the back of his throat or something? I missed that. Wife was blah blah blah'ing and I was like stfu!
he doesnt actually end up shooting himself, he takes it out and shoots
Yeah but thats my point, I don't understand how they are capable of manipulating almost every aspect of DNA and yet Snake is doomed by his own. They were able to turn Raiden into a cybernetic ninja with fake blood and back into a human again, I just don't believe that Snake would be doomed.
Snake could be fixed because theatrics won't allow it.
Just beat it last night great gameprobably one of the best. Only problem I had was it felt a little short to me just the cut scenes were long.
I really enjoyed the story behind the beast girls. It added to their character.
I only played one other mgs game and that was the one you could play as solid or some ninja guy named nano. Is that jack or am I thinking of someone else?
Two new camos have been added in the extras section.
Laughing/Raging Camo.
"These new camouflages look pretty cool when applied via in-game menu, covering Snake in large Japanese script, but the fun really happens when you approach an enemy whilst wearing them. Depending on which one you have currently donned, you will cause your opponents laughter or rage rating to increase, sometimes causing them to burst out into hysterics or rawr at the sky. The easiest way to see this is grab someone in a CQC hold for a little while and then let them go. We have no idea whether this works on bosses, but we'd love to find out. Consider this your 4th of July homework. Class dismissed."
