Holy shit at the time. Talk about cutting it close! I'm on the chase scene on my BBE run, I'm taking a short break before I let the frustration begin.

lol No kidding! I honestly thought that because things were taking waaaay too long with the Mantis fight and I knew that I didn't have any time to screw around on Act 5 at all that I wasn't going to make it. So rather than restarting the whole thing I figured I'd just run it as hard as I could and I made it, 6 minutes to spare XD

You on the Act 3 chase scene? That is seriously tough. I almost slammed my controller agains the wall a few times during that... >< I ended up spamming stun grenades at certain points and barely squeeked by.

If I read reports correctly it IS free. Also, if you already bought a character slot, you're still getting the extra one in this update.

Maybe I'll actually try the retail release of MGO after the patch :D

I envy you guys that can even beat the game on Big Boss Extreme. I can't even get to the M.G.Mark2 section of act1 without dying a good hundred times to the point of frustration, saying screw it, and going back to a lower difficulty.

So I decided to attempt the chase scene today finally. I got through the first 2 legs pretty easily. Took about an hour and 15 or so attempts. I'm fairly convinced the last leg, however, is impossible. Been going at it for 3 hours. I'm quitting before my dualshock ends up through my LCD.

Okay, whoever thought up the voting options for MGO is a gigantic fucking moron. They really couldn't see this shit happening? God damn.

Okay, before I explain why I'm saying this here is how Team Sneak works:
-The Sneak Team are 1 to 2 objects you need to find then bring back to your base.
-The Sneak Team is invisible until shot/attacked. The invisibility isn't perfect and easy to see with weapons. When one person is discovered, the whole team's invisibility turns off for 4 seconds since the last attack.
-The Sneak Team has tranqs, knife, and some kind of trap. The Defense Team has your typical SMG or Rifle, Handgun, and Grenades.
-When you die you die for the entire round.
-People are usually simpleminded and don't understand the concept of stealth. One teammate fucking up can lead to many teammates getting killed. This is the challenge of the mode. This is especially true with bigger teams because there are less places to hide.

In MGO, everything is decided by votes. Who gets kicked, does the match restart, do they go back to lobby, go to next match... ect ect. Anyone can start this shit and anyone can vote.

Now imagine if people who died and can't respawn get impatient. WELL, they could just ask "Restart Round?" and with most people being dead thinking "Yeah, I want to play" and so they vote yes. Any and all effort is erased and the round restarts.

My team fucking blew from the start(any wins would be because of 3 people, me being one of them). I use my trusted Darwin strategy: Wait until the morons kill each other and I get to sneak through less than half as many guards. This goes okay for the most part until I got spotted while someone else lost our cloak at a great time. I lost half my health, but I slammed him and stabbed him.

It's about time to start moving and at this point it's like 4(sneak) vs 6(defense). While running about, two more teammates die. This group of 4 surrounds my little hiding spot and I'm thinking I'm kind of fucked. I still had the upper hand so I took my chance. I grabbed/slammed and killed one guy. They notice me, take a few shots, but I run behind a corner. He follows, I do the same to him. The two others are circling around this building to trap me. I use the same corner, stun one guy who was ahead, and the other guy gets couple good shots at me. I'm basically down to a single hit away from dying. I still hug that corner and he still comes at me. Before he can finish me, I grab him and slam him on top of his buddy. I kill them both at the same time.

I'm like "IM THE FUCKING MAN", but yeah, maybe they were pretty stupid. Doesn't matter, I was going to get a shitload of points for it. At this point I am running slowly to a nearby object. At the same time, my last teammate grabs the other one and proceeds to die not a second later. I use this chance to grab my own and use a manlauncher to get on top of the building. I crawl to the edge of the building I see them running around the point I need to access. I decide I will pick them off with tranqs and either win by knocking them all out, or make a run for it when one is down(and his buddy is too shy to help him).

Now all throughout my epic journey of asskicking, people keep asking "Restart Round?" "Go back to Briefing?", "Proceed to Next Stage?". It seems to be turned down constantly. But now, after taking out four people at once... things changed. My own fucking teammate asks to restart the round. Just as I'm shooting and hitting one guy, the screen goes black and all my effort goes completely to waste.

Honestly, what the fuck.

I've never had a round restart in team sneaking in like 30 hours of playing, and it's what I always pick for automatching.

Well, I thought the fucking chase scene was bad...I go onto crying wolf, and on the third attempt, I take the last shot, and I get an alert as she dies. I got impatient and took the final blow too soon with a god damned frog within spitting distance. That was at 8pm. Now it's 11:30 and I can't even get 4 shots into that bitch without a detection. This is fucking infuriating. Nerve racking, but I'm so close
