Well, depends on which PS3 you buy. And each MGS is about 8-10 hours long, just play all of them on Easy or something and rush through them for the story.

I feel like telling a little story about MGS2. I had it for the Xbox. My xbox was kind of a piece of shit that would get disc read errors every 10 minutes, quite literally. So I would save absolutely constantly. Latter, I found out that your rank gets punished for this. I had saved well over 200 times. Also, Rose is a bitch.

I'm half tempted to do what was mentioned above and buy a PS2 / essentials just to play 1-2-3 (or any mix...) and then return in 7 days... hmm... roommate has already agreed to go half-half on the new 80GB PS3 (SCORE) and he is buying a brand new 50" flatscreen just for the occassion... yay!

40Gb no Backwards Compatability ONRY, and all the import shops I've looked at are out of stock on 80Gb models.

Probably won't even see the MGS4 PS3 pack either around here.

Might get lucky and find a 60Gb model in some scummy shops dusty shelves, software emulation ftl.
Probably going to have to go 40Gb and keep the PStwo handy.

If your talking about MGS1 I believe if your on PS3 you can go into controller settings through the PS button and change it from digital to analog and the analog sticks will work. I think that was how you did it

been waiting for MGS4 to get a PS3, what other games are worth getting? I don't really like FPS games with a controller but other than that I'll play pretty much anything, definitely socom confrontation later this year

Devil May Cry 4 was good. Nero, new main character that shares spotlight with Dante is voiced by the same guy that does Ichigo in the Bleach anime. Ratchet and Clank tools of destruction was awesome, one of the few games that made me put down ffxi for more than a day. Ninja Gaiden II looks really good, should be a no brainer for most.

dmc4 too short and gets boring fast after u beat it serveral times. MGS4 pretty much the only game worth getting, and CoD4 if you dont have it already on other systems. FF13 and Grand Turismo 5 might be worth getting when it's out.

The uncharted demo didn't do the actual game justice, I would rent uncharted though, its an awesome game but only 10 hours long
