I thought about doing that, but I already preorder the LE of MGS4, plus nothing beats having the actual hardware in there.Originally Posted by archibaldcrane

What problems currently exist in playing MGS games on an 80gig? The website only says that MGS3 is a bit slow... anyone had any experience with this?
(I searched the forums and found nothing)
I don't think there's many people here with an 80 gig, but yeah I think you pretty much nailed it - mgs1+2 are perfect, 3 has some slowdown issues (although it's a little unclear if they are just cutscene/codec convo issues or actual gameplay issues).Originally Posted by BarthelloSylph
Cancel your preorder, return the used PS3 and get the bundle.
I want the LE... so I'm returning the used PS3, getting the bundle, and selling the regular copy of MGS4 on ebay or amazon
So now the real question is... extended warranty or not?
If it doesn't break within a year, I'd say there is a really really good chance it's a keeper and shouldn't have any issues. I, on the other hand, have a 1 year old who loves to play monster trucks with her 4-wheeler. She discriminates against nothing, runs into and over everything. The TRU warranty covers accidents, so you can bet I'm taking that.
