    Looking to buy a domain.

So I've been looking to buy a domain but I really don't know how it works. So I need some information.

Currently with my domain that I'm receiving through dyndns (jeatin.ath.cx) its automatically picking up my ip changes from my router. I was wondering if there was another place to do this or if I should just get an upgraded dyndns account.

    Any information is appreciated.

you can get a domain off of godaddy, just buy one and point it to your name servers and that's it.

    theres several other dyndns sites... no-ip.com, cjb.net, zone edit... etc here's a list http://www.dmoz.org/Computers/Internet/ ... namic_DNS/

if you wanted your own tld (like ikith.com or something) you would need an upgraded account more than likely, although i do think zone edit lets you do it for free for one domain or so

PS. Tech support forums plz kkthnx
