Someone lost a Shining Cloth last night in my LS's KS99 runs because of that.

Not quite the same, KS99 drops can't be autosorted (well, unless for some weird reason you're holding phoenix feathers or another stackable item in your inventory when you enter).

I've gotten into arguements about this before. I don't get why this is so hard for people to accept that Last Hit doesn't matter, +enmity doesn't matter. As long as the THF has generated any kind of hate in the ally, then Treasure Hunter goes active.

Had THF at 75 for 3 years and I still boggle at why some people think of supersticious bullshit is going to appear out of nowhere. SE already stated you only need to have the THF on the hate list for TH to kick on and that was that. I remember another guy who tried to fully convince me that having a THF pop an Armory Crate also helped drops.

On that note, do you have to generate enmity or just get on the hate list? (e.g. If the thf sits down next to the mob: CE 0, VE 0, gets on the hate list)

SE Already stated iirc that Treasure Hunter goes into effect and stays in effect unless the mob goes passive. A THF could land TH4 on a mob, die, zone, Home-Point, change to RDM, and come back while the mob is being fought and Treasure Hunter will still be active.

As long as the THF lands something for hate *I usually build TP once and TA Shark Bite*, then Treasure Hunter is active. The THF could leave the zone and log but the effect will remain as long as the mob doesn't go passive.

I'm going to say with my own thoughts that the THF needs to actually land a hit. Linked hate is weird sometimes and honestly I would say it's best to let the THF take a stab at the mob's ass just to be sure enmity is generated onto the THF in some form or another.

Same SNK have had a 75 thief a long time as well and I agree completly, believe I explained it earlier in the thread how it works.

To the guy asking about zoning, I would say yes its hard to prove but then again it should in my opinon work the same as it did before they did the mpk patch that made mobs depop when you zone instead of path back to their original spawn point, I want to say when u zone you loose all hate and need to re-establish enmity back onto the mob in order to proc TH on said mob. Thats how I interpret(sp) that situation, I may be wrong but thats how I see it working.

I know this works with KV seeing as I've known people to zone, come back and get hate afterwards so I don't see that conclusion very farfetched either.

@Therin, Treasure Hunter in itself is fucking loopy as it is. I'm sure you remember when we were both in TG and I went to camp Sozu Rogberry only a week after I hit 75 on THF. There was a JP RDM working on getting his Testy so since it was Sozu and I had nothing to do for 16 minutes per Placeholder I decided to help him.

I went into the room and tagged Sozu with steal, started killing it with the JP RDM helping me kill it as well. Killed it and go the drop 1/1.

Lord the amount of fucking hate tells I got for that majorly lucky drop were amazing.. lol

So yeah \_/ with Treasure Hunter. I just built my THF up to DD on Sky, Kings and whatnot by subbing /sam or /war, slapping on an assload of attack gear, chewing meat and going to town on mobs. I'd like to actually do more with THF then just being a placebo which thankfully I was able to do on a lot of things.

Anyways, That's for another discussion tho with the whole "lol@ dd THF" thing.
