a little of both, close quarters could lead to more striking action, or a lot of tie ups on the fence.

The WEC cage is 20 by 20 or 22 by 22, and the UFC cage is 32 by 32.

Ratings for the most recent UFC and WEC fights:
    http://www.mmaweekly.com/absolutenm/tem ... 7&zoneid=2

World Extreme Cagefighting on Tuesday also released the numbers for its Sunday night event, WEC 34, featuring Urijah Faber and Jens Pulver. The overall event averaged 1.536 million viewers and was the most watched event in its timeslot among the key advertising demographics of Men 18-34 and Men 18-49.
I find that extremely impressive - given that I HAVE cable and still don't even get Versus, and according to this it was even beating all major network shows in that demographic.

i was very impressed by the WEC rating. most cable companies around here carry it, but i've heard a few people complain about not getting it in other areas.
