Does anyone have a screenshot proving this? I know self-target moves that have an area of effect won't be readied if nothing they can hit is in the area of effect, but i've never seen or heard of said moves being cancelled as opposed to going off but not hitting anyone. Regardless, a group of 6 people with real capped gear on balanced jobs can do cluster fine. Have your tank pop a hi potion tank and empty it before you zone in if you're really that worried about it, they're cheap as piss now anyway.

Watch any DRG solo a mob. For example, Goblins. If they ready Bomb Toss, if you super jump it the move is cancelled, but their TP is saved, when you land they will likely ready the same move or a different one. This is from my experience/what I've noticed.

Youtube some DRG avatar solos. This is how a DRG can solo an avatar without getting themselves serious hurt. They Super Jump the Prime's 2 hour move. But I think/assume (like the SMN job) the 2 hour move is an ability rather than a TP move, so that is why they do not perform it again.
