Venture Bros Season 3

The guy that voiced Aku (Mako) has such a distinctive voice, no one else can compare. He also did Uncle Iroh in Avatar: The Last Airbender, who was a kickass character.

The guys that did Samurai Jack have been busy with Clone Wars/Clone Wars movie for the last few years I think.

Fuck, that makes sense now. I wondered why Iroh's voice randomly changed like mid-season.

After much contemplation, I have decided that is likely the best episode of this season. If not, it's in the top 3 with Buddy System and The Doctor is Sin. Also, writing those 3 out reminds me of how they are so different but so AWESOME.

I'd say that Season 2 was more consistently great than 3, but 3 takes a lot of cool risks with new styles more often.

I love this show so much.

This show is definitely the highlight of my sunday evenings, thats for sure.

I'll have to agree with Max, this episode was one of the top three so far for this season.

I found myself thinking of Star Trek. Every time there was any sort of mission and they added some random low ranking ensign you could pretty much guess they weren't going to make it to the end of the show. And of course they would end up taking the bullet so to speak while the main character held them in their arms screaming nooooo, or something like that.

My name is Scott! Oh well now it will end up with me holding you in my arms screaming ~ Noooo Scott!!!

Just got through watching the new episode on adultswim.com (if you're unaware they always update the site on Fridays so you can always catch the upcoming shows for Sunday ahead of time if you want.) I usually work until close to midnight on Sundays so I usually watch the full lineup ahead of time.

I'm guessing the spoiler above your post is referring to the post-script of the new episode, to which I say

They obviously try to kill Brock at the end of the episode, but two things. 1) It's Brock Fucking Samson, so of course he doesnt die, and 2) Even if he dies, Venture can always just whip up a Brock clone! Provided hes been saving his memories somehow like hes been doing with the boys, of course.

Furthermore, holy shit at the new episode. Lots of info in this one leading up to the 2-part season finale that starts next week.

Anybody else think about Brisco County Jr. when they started talking about a mysterious orb that seems to transcend time and gives powers that are undefined but can be used for good or evil?

I'm gonna miss this season so much when it's over. It's been a blast.

No clue. I've been trying to figure that out myself. I mean.. I know if you add together how many letters it takes to get to o (15) r (18 and b (2) and add them together, you get 35. Then take 22+12+1+0 = 35... but seriously. That's farfetched, haha.

The only thing I didn't like about this episode was Brock. He really seemed out of it/annoyed the whole time. I understand why he would be bothered, but I think they overdid it.

In all honesty, I was hoping his car would come back and their would be an epic fight. I'm upset we didn't get to see it but this episode definitely is setting up for an awesome season finale. Oh and in case people missed it, the creators did commentary for the ORB episode and it's pretty good.
