Uhhh I'm going back to college in a week and a half...which is like 45~60 minutes away from where Naks lives so ... I'd say soon. And probably often. I have nothing to do on weekends at all at college besides work so I'm definitely game for more shenanigans with you guys.

It's stipping with Dancing Blade that's tough shenanigans.

That's pretty funny, you were a Marth main in Melee too? I haven't touched him seriously on Brawl, but whenever I play as him (for fun) it's extremely easy to tip >_>;. Spike is the hardest, though, but I just use my melee tactic for that (I always strike with the side of the dair, not the exact bottom, it's easier for me at least). I should really take up Marth again... just to piss my bro off XD

I love Marth, picked him up in melee because he had a sword and a cape (not even joking) and have been playing him ever since, I play a lot like drago but I still have trouble with tipping too...been trying lately and my hit rate's gone from like 40%+/- to like 30%+/-, but it is pretty satisfying to get a tip fsmash at like 90%~ on some of the lighter characters

Spiking is still really hard though =( gonna try what Akashi said and do the spike on the side thing

can't chain nair as fast as fair with marth, has a bit more knockback and easier to hit with though because it lasts longer and circles around him, but short hop fair->fair->ftilt(or bcombo) with marth is real easy to do and fast

Exactly why I said Nair is worse. It doesn't matter if it can chain (even though it almost can if you immediately SH Nair then FF), it's the fact that the range is pretty noticeable and it's a nice KO move past 100%. It's amazing for edge-guarding (FF nair like Snake), and it can even hit people that's behind you. Granted bair is just as badass and has similar properties, but the thing nair has over bair is reduced ending lag. Fair is nice, yes, don't get me wrong! But Nair is fucking badass when used right (so is fair).

Marth's SH Foward B to Nair is my main. Even truer story.

    Also, Snake's Bair.

    I think they're overrated.

At least F-Tilt is. It's definitely not the end all be all move.

Good uses for F-Tilt in competitive play:
Jab once to F-Tilt is guaranteed after first jab.
Knee Lock by staggering forward tilts.
Keeping aggressive opponents at bay, or just having a poke that's out of grab range for characters like Dedede.

F-Tilt almost never KOs over other moves unless you're really REALLY mixing it up. By far, it's the "stalest" move in his arsenal as most players rely on it heavily. It will KO VERY well when Fresh, but again, most players use it so much that it just is a good damage dealer.

And Up Tilt, is the finisher. Should always be fresh as you should never really use it outside of a KO move or in the middle of mixups/combos.

    i.e.
    Jab Jab Grab, Up Throw

    Opponent Doesn't Air Dodge
    -Up Tilt, Up Tilt
Opponent Air Dodges after second Up Tilt
    -Grab, Up Throw
Opponent Doesn't Air Dodge after second Up Tilt
    -Resume standard game play
    Opponent Does Air Dodge
    -Grab, Up Throw

Edit: My point is I guess B-Air is the unsung hero of Snake's arsenal. It's not as good as those two moves but holy hell is it deceptively powerful, quick, and has ASS LOADS of priority and an even bigger hit box.

sure it's good but it's not broken like up tilt, arguably the most broken move in his set and maybe even across the entire game...

Sonic's third jump is more broken to me, probably because I only play on a regular basis with a real good sonic player and no snake players =/

More random crap practicing with a crew member, probably one of the best foxes in the country at the moment.

The theme was that regardless of how strong a lead someone takes the fight isnt over until it's over.
