    This film has been in the can since 2006. The studio hated it. They forced Spike Jonez into many reshoots.

    They still hated it. Either it was pure Genius, or its all lies for the hype machine.

    Either way the source material is pretty thin so expectations from execs of any studio are most likely too high.

    still, i'd watch it.
