Khroma ore are a good one to go for, I doubt they'll deflate that much since demand for them is so high.

I've already sold Dusk Gloves in preparation... I suppose even if there is a deflation on Behe hides, it'll make Dusk Gloves +1 a bit cheaper to attain :3

Regardless of the influx of hides, an epic amount of gil just left the economy.

Epic? I spend more than 10k gil in OPs / ??? items / etc... every few days.

Anyway, it's unlikely Khroma will go down much, but there will be plenty of people taking it as reward. The majority will likely take b.hides unless price plummets below anything else before the drawing, and the rest will assume b.hides will drop below k.ore price and just take the ore for ups or to sell. Either way, I sold my dusk almost a month ago, and will likely buy again a week or two after the redemption process has started.

It kinda sucks for me/my LS, since I got free dusk and we currently rely on synth mats from Sky to fund Dynamis, Hides from Byakko being a good chunk of that. At the same time it'll be nice for our main LC who is trying to reach 100, so that part is nice, we just have to hope Suzy keeps putting out good gil I suppose.

Hopefully Dynamis is reduced to 500k when that change comes. I know our shell likes to use such drops to pay for Dyna when we can get claims or do the rare Sky raid, but usually we just wind up paying out of pocket.

I sold my Dusk Gloves the moment they announced the Bonanza. Had absolutely no problem selling them for the "normal" old price. Probably the smartest thing I've done in a long time. GL to those still trying to sell yours in the mad rush.

OT: Yes there is a decline on items at the AH, I was coincidently enough browsing the Dusk gear this past weekend and noticed a huge drop since my last inquiries in these particular items in previous months. At the time I couldn't recall as to why, but now it all makes sense. Price drops; Keep em' comin'.

Doesn't SE give us like an entire month to claim the prizes?
I'll probably wait to redeem the rank4 marbles to get the most money off of the AH.

I just dumped my NQ dusk feet on a friend for 200k less than I got them for on Ragnarok. There's one asshole absolutely CRASHING the market, but this appears to be a trend across all the servers. :\

I'd sell my gloves too, but they're too useful to temp-dump.

I hope the D Ingot market crashes extremely hard. One can still only average 1-2 Hauby+1 every stack or so of Ingots, so the market in that won't crash too much... Might even go up considering the incoming flood of NQs. Sucks to be an NQ Hauby now that I think about it.

1000 is the best (or in this case, I should say 'worst') case.
suppose the winning last 2 digit is 45 there isn't any guarantee people pick all the number between 00145 - 99945.

But still, even the winning rate is 75% and most of them picked behemoth hide, it'll be over 200-300 behemoth hide will be coming in to the market (if they gonna sell it)

The POL news is slightly misleading, on my part anyway. Can anyone verify? Here is my view:

    It does say, to quote:

FINAL FANTASY XI 6th Anniversary Mog Bonanza
    Price: 1000 gil.
Mog Bonanza marbles available for purchase from May 16 till May 28.
The winning numbers will be announced on June 30.
Prizes available for collection from July 2 till July 31.
Where it says the winning numbers, does it mean 1 "string" of numbers (59925 for example, is many numbers, but only 1 winning "string" number)) or does it mean a string of many numbers (i.e. 58682 19596 57798). I've noticed that you could've brought tickets/marbles with less than 5 numbers, which is odd to me, as it potentially reduces your chance of winning, I think, the higher rank items that is.

I know you could get a marble with the same number as the other people have chosen.

Did you or anyone you know actually purchase a marble with less than 5 numbers? Is it actually possible or if you specify less than 5 numbers does it randomly generate the rest?

You sure it wasn't like this: say you picked 25 it was really 00025?

Re: Mog bonanza and deflation: R U JAZZED?

Given that it's going to be picking a number from 0-99999 as I recall, and not 00000-99999, it's the same likelihood for the winning number to be 3 (just 3) so the winning marbles could be 33333, 15703, 94003, 50003, and just 3 for rank 1.

Re: Mog bonanza and deflation: R U JAZZED?

When I entered the number 00033 to purchase it the Moogle when confirming my number simply said 33. However my marble is inscribed 00033. This would lead me to believe purchasing a number without 5 digits would simply append the leading 0's to the number since it is an akward way of thinking about a number in our math system.

Re: Mog bonanza and deflation: R U JAZZED?

they did say "A FIVE DIGIT NUMBER" would be picked.. so they pick just "12" as the winning number, thats only 2 digits.

it should have to be "00012". i have i think 2, 4 digit #'s, w/o "0" appended to the front.
