Re: Mog bonanza and deflation: R U JAZZED?

    I always had a theory:
Maybe they are purposely making the prices of dusk gloves tank because they want to release new gear that will be better than dusk gloves, at least the NQ version.
This way when the gloves are released, original owners wont feel as shafted after dropping so much gil just 2 days ago on gloves.
Could you imagine the people who dropped 15MM on Panther +1 hats for 3% haste and next day free hat comes out giving you 5% haste??

They might be doing this to lessen the pain on original dusk gear owners?
    Just a thought.

No rmt won't do that. I will.

Releasing something better than dusk gloves isn't going to lessen the pain. Impossible to make everyone happy. People holding Thief's Knife & Genie Weskit pre-patch lost a bunch of gil just the same way. For every winner there's going to be a loser.

This would, strategically, be a hilarious time for SE to announce the removal of Behemoth Hides from selectable rewards.

Free hats? I remember a bunch of people shelling out at least 15 mil on gold coins the same day it was found out that Walahra Turban needed 1000 bronzepieces.

God yes. I made a good three-quarters of a million just spamming my Besieged Bronzepieces. Good times.

I'm glad to see SE paid some attention to attempting a mage-melee balance in the rank 4 rewards with Damascene Cloth -- although I was generally under the impression Vermillion Cloaks were mostly for PLD and BRD refresh sets. Well, maybe SMNs who haven't obtained anything better yet.

And while Khroma Ore is a crafting material for melee weapons, it can be considered a reward for either class due to Salvage upgrades, so I suppose it counts there.

I still idle in one on RDM since I lack Duelist's Chapeau or Dalmy/Morrigan's Robe. :<

I think the real motive behind this was to kill Behemoth camp. Make b.hide drop, and people have one less reason to go to behemoth's dominion. Black belt, d.ring, n.cap and e.body are the only thing left...if they can limit this to d.ring and black belt, land king problems will be solved.

Lol at that yea because everyone goes to behemoth for the hides...I'm pretty sure its for the gear/hell even the chance to sell a BB item which generally makes more than hides.

Re: Mog bonanza and deflation: R U JAZZED?

    Theory:
What if everyone knows the price will drop hella quick for Behe Hides, so they go along and pick something else? Than wont there will be MASS DEMAND for Dusk gloves and Behe Hide..? i sold my Dusk Boots for 480k 2 days ago on Asura where the price is dropping below 450k. I'm just saying. Everyone will be pissed if that happens and there's a Mass demand for Dusk gloves/boots. i saved my gloves just incase =)
