Not a programmer but I've written systems and stories for MUDs and dice-based online games through IRC [IRC RP when it was popular] I wouldn't mind seeing if I could contribute anything to this, PM me perhaps as details progress / if you wouldn't mind a sit-in on IRC over it or something.

I'd feel more comfortable doing something turn based and 2D, however I don't know why I have this weird feeling its better to make shit work in 3d, probably because you can fiill the place up with random polygons instead of needing decent art for the sprites.

I have no language preference, but I mostly know C and a bit of C++, I'm willing to learn other language np.

P.S. Having two separate thread is going to be a mess ;p

on a sidenote, I would love to help. but have almost no idea for programming....now for the electronic side of it though, I could do alot (getting assosciates in computer electronics) have fun with the project! hope it turns out great!

Yeah, 2 threads is a bit of a mess, but I should have a forum up by the end of the day. After that we'll keep the General thread going for updates/awareness.

You should name it something forum related, since BG is where the idea originated from. Go watch that one video of the people in the office throwing around random forum terms for specific ideas. I think that would be funny, depending on what type of game you're making.
