    Registry Code Problems for FFXI

    I bought the PC EU version of WotG in April and have been trying to install it to no avail.

    The problem happens when registering the expansion pack in POL. It says the code is invalid although it was from a brand new box. Now there have also been problems with EU expansions on NA games and I've pretty much tried everything. I have CoP, RotZ and Original on one expansion that was imported from the US (this was before FFXI was released in the UK at all), ToAU is EU and installed/registered fine. WotG is again EU but, although it is installed, won't register. It keeps saying the code is invalid.

    I've tried messing with Registry Keys etc and nothing has worked. Anything I can do? Or do I need to get a US game with a US code?

    As far as I know, you need to have the same region code when installing.

    Are you sure ToAU is EU and not NA version? I'm am almost positive that this is how it has always been. If you originally used a NA FFXI installation, then all expansions need to have a NA registration code.
