This is a reskinned King Goldemar (Dvergr class) NM. I have no idea what it'll be named in WoTG so yeah...

Doesn't Enkidu gear look a lot like a (very good) compromise between WS and TP gear for THF? Nice balance of STR, DEX, ACC, ATK and omgSubtleBLow! The black Harpe is gonna be nice, but it still doesn't make me want X's Knife any less. Also, I can't get my head around Ixion's Cloak. For RDM it looks like another compromise item, less swapping but less effective than current nuke/enfeeble combos of head and body slots.

Gear we already have is better, and the 'new avatar' talk is completly unfounded. It's almost been proven that this 'pony' is an HNM and not a summon.

Classic, it's so hard to please a SMN! Even if you had your hMP setup maxed out, this update gave you hMP+2 hands and hMP+4 feet, which was unheard-of before. What about cure potency +5% on an earring? Summoning magic skill +5 on legs that are possibly easier to get than through Salvage? And then there is that Garuda headband which seems interesting enough to macro in for :Rage. Yeah, keep whining while the rest of us enjoy the benefits of this update. ;x

The NM is called Dark Ixion, and with the introduction to him in the notes, very pointedly mentioning a "dark" and "light" side to his personality, there is still opportunity to come across Ixion in missions (much like Dark Rider vs Odin), and who knows from there.

Also, the Garuda headband and the Oracle Braconi are excellent SMN pieces - SMN skill +5, same as Marduk's Shalwar, without having to go through Salvage... good for magic attacks and Ward BPs.

QQ moar plz, but only after you learn to read first.

And yes, I am a SMN, and outside of Bahamut's Staff, I'd say my gear is "done," but fuck I want that headband now.
