The touch screen on the iPhone is truly unlike anyone else's touch screen. They created new technology and patented it. I laugh when other phones claim that they have a touch screen too. It's almost apples and oranges comparing the two.
I definitely 2nd this comment. My friend got the new Verizon phone with the touch screen and all it does his piss him off. You can't press it with your fingernail, you have to use the skin part of your finger. You have to press it relatively hard. It didn't with any sort of 'stylus' or 'pen' for selecting things on the screen. Not fat finger friendly whatsoever.
i can't use my fingernail on my ipod touch screen, flesh part of finger only. multi-touch capabilities rock though, iphone/ipod touch still needs java+flash support to truly make this 100% awesome
with the dataplan, i wanna be able to go to work, pop out my iphone and watch my baseball games (i have mlb.tv package) in safari, right now i can't do that due to there not being any browser support for flash/java script
