I've got no beef with LN, I'm actually pretty cool with alot of them, but their "We've got too keep trying no matter what" attitude is shoving Ix right into PB/Nirvana's time zone.

And any NM that falls in there is swallowed by the dark abyss of the universe and never seen til next update.

Killed our first Ixion today. Used four Rangers, two summoners, and a SAM/THF for damage. The time we really started doing damage to the time it died was a little under an hour. Could definitely get it under 30 minutes, as some of our RNGs accidentally ate the dust multiple times!

Dropped everything but the cape.

SML killed again last night. Shaved 2 hours off our killing time and downed it in under 45 min. First time I got to tank it and I must say it is fun as hell to tank. Not hard per se, just weird. Typically with mobs like Cerb and Khim you get into such a routine as pld/nin that it is almost boring.

With Ixion you have to do all those same things but also time your {Run Away} so will take some time getting used to. The one plus imo is that Ixion does so much jumping around/kicking other people/stopping to do charged attacks that getting shadows up in a pinch really isn't an issue. Also at least to me it seemed I DID shield block but the animation just didn't go off (weird). The damage was reduced however.

For LS taking a long time and having a hard time holding hate you do run away from its charged attacks right?

Some of its attacks are physical, it seems to have three seperate melee hit types. One is magical and adds grav, one is magical and adds bind and the last is physical. Rampant Stance and Acheron Kick are also both physical.

I'm glad it's 21-24, need more land HNMs with the same timers.

I don't get what's to complain about for it. God forbid you can't monopolize every land HNM in one day anymore, and more NMs like this will help indirectly reduce the size of the swarms at the old 3 kings (as long as their drops are worthwhile).

And the fleeing thing, while a pain in the ass, is a great way to get around botting. SE finally showing some promise assuming this was all intentional. Only gripe is that I think as it is it's too easy for other linkshells to using grief tactics with it fleeing/disappearing from anyone that gives it a wrong look.

I was under the impression it didn't have a hp bar >_>
