Meh... i still think Ixion will be a summonable avatar and not an HNM and the drops are rewards from the fight like w/ the other avatars... i mean how many NMs have a glow like that?
or dark Ixion is the evil version and there will be a regular one later on....

i mean basically that glow means a copy right? Each summonable avatar has that glow and even the cavernous maws do, most likely The maws are avatars o Atomos.

in anycase... someone needs to toss that thing at it xD

Ixion's horn is in the dat and /recast Ixion doesn't work.

There's no Ixion's Horn, just Dark Ixion's Horn.

Just because he's not summonable now, doesn't mean he won't be in the future, how long was Diabolos around before you could summon him?

Found it in batallia, set up my wind throw like in sky, unlimited shot, sharpshot, throw.
It got pissed the fk off!
I threw the wind at it and it aggroed me and proceeded to stomp my ass.
My holy bolts did bout 9base damage, 15 add effect.
It had no HP bar.
Shadowbind stuck.
Hit me for about 350 a hit rng/nin hume male
Has TP Regain, pretty strong one.
I am dead as i type this.
Ps2, no pics atm.

I hope this isn't a lie. Going to farm the throwing item now, gonna try to get my friend to bring some of his LS mates and see if this fight goes anywhere.

Axe hits were 2dmg on the kreigs, 0 on my francisca.
It had a ranged attack like ninja mobs, only, it zapped me with it's horn, that wiped my shadows as i was "strategically kiting" it towards the checkpoint/outpost thing. (read: running indiscriminantly away saying OMFG IT WORKED in LS.)
Used "Lightning Spear" that was absorbed by one shadow.
EDIT: Used "Rampant Stance"x2 -First one was too far away, second one did 738dmg. That was my deathshot.

It's no longer on scan.

I saw it in West Saurutabaruta S about 20min before this whilst researching the thing. I shot it with a Soultrapper 2000 during this instance, but the picture failed.

Going to throw like 3 PLD a few BLM, and a SMN at Ixion since that's all that we can get online right now.

Edit: Where are common sightings? Ran from Batallia, no clue where he is now.

The fact his HP bar did not appear worries me a little bit. Could be a glitch, but I have my doubts that they'll let us kill a monster without a HP bar.

So far I've only seen him in the dats for Ronfaure, Jugner, Batallia,Rolanberry, Sarutabaruta and Fort-K. If anyone else finds more let me know. I'm looking for him.

appears at the bottom of the widescan list, just above the NPC's in the area.

The pixies I killed were in West Sarutabaruta S, and then I killed one in Batallia Downs after the encounter, Got another ash for my whm to hold.

looks to be a random location as far as zone goes but not where in the zones.

Going on 2 hours of cycling zones between 3 people. Definitely we could have missed him, but we're all on /RNG wide scanning and haven't found anything.

Claimed it, tried to hold solo, had it for about a minute and it had permanent TP.

Was fine until it used 'Wrath of Zeus' which was 980 Lightning damage, that thing that looked like Ramuh shit, + wipe shadows and silence, 1 shotted me a second later, LS got there right as I died, tried to claim it and it ran off.
