Claret(the NM above) also likes to sit on you or something. WHen it does that, it gives you 100hp/tick poison, whichs lasts around 3-5ticks. Very weak to nukes, and low hp.

Killed the Colibri, dropped a rare/ex that Im gonna trade back in now. And a Dragoon's Earring, level 69 rare/ex chance to use an Angon with depleting, Enhances Wyvern "Breath" accuracy.

Also easily 6 man'd, Mnk, Pld/ninx2, Sam, Brd, Rdm.

We let the bird charm all of us, and tried to use DoT to keep its hp low, was at 100% again after, but didnt charm again after that. Potentially a 2 hour type ability.

killed Puk, vulpangue, was a total joke with 2 mnk/nin, thf, brd, rdm rdm whm. definlately over kill on the healing. Had low HP, was basically a regular puk but wind shear does a little more damage+gravity. All debuffs landed.

You know those nights when you've done all your ENM's for the week, don't feel like exp/meriting, all the HNM windows are hours away, no events etc... SE just gave you something to do instead of sit around the AH or read forums... this pop NM thing seems to be a very good thing.

We killed the Colibri as well, got the rare/ex beak (I'm nearly certain the rare/ex items are 100%), no other drops. Was a pretty tough fight, same deal as everyone else with AoE charm at 35-40% and fast cast aeroga III. It reflects blue magic and couldnt be stunned with headbutt.

When traded to Sanraku the beak got me a Maroon Seal, which opened up the Iriri Samariri (poroggo), Iriz Ima (marid), and Lividroot Amooshah (ameretat) offers, all at ~3k (1k more zeni than the tier 1 offers, i guess). It appears that each of the seals opens up 3 NMs from the next tier, my guess is there are 9 per tier (there are 21 offers beyond the first 9, my guess is two tiers of 9 mobs each with a final tier of just khim/cerb/hydra).

Someone else posted that the Cerise Seal from the wamouracampa mob opened up the Anantaboga (dragon), Reacton (bomb), and Dextrose (flan) mobs, anyone else have any experience with key items? What did the automaton/flan/puk/slime etc give key item wise?

Gonna try and clean up the OP with more info from the past 2 pages.... all in all this is looking to be a fun event thats decently rewarding, hopefully we can get it all figured out soon.

How the hell did you guys manage to beat the Harlequin NM? I just took a group of friends to give it a shot and we got annihilated. Knockout hit our PLD for 1300 and after a couple other people dropped we resorted to kiting it. Turns out, Magic Mortar can fire about six miles and kill you from down the hall no problem. The moves happen super quick so I don't know if stunning them is a realistic possibility or not.

Tp given? Puppet mobs can self skillchain in xp party, so I assume that it would do the same in xp party if there is more than 2-3melee on it.

It started casting Aeroga 3 at 65% and it casts AV speed, even if you could stun you wouldn't stun that. He mimics all magic including BLU spells, hits for around 150-200 and does seem to be 100% resistant to stun. Couldn't land any Ninjutsu either.

I don't mean that he gets TP quickly. I mean theres almost literally zero delay between "readies Magic Mortar" and "so and so dies." My issue is that there is probably almost no hope of stunning. And considering outrunning Magic Mortar is seemingly impossible I'm unsure of what to do aside from just bring enough people to burn him down rapidly.

My group did it as PLD PLD RDM BRD MNK SAM and didn't have any real problems. We all got charmed at one point and it regened to full health, but nothing life-threatening.
