I've just read the entire thread and wanted to say that all you guys are great! After only 24hrs after the update so many Zeni have been accumulated, so many NMs have been killed and so many drops have been discovered along with the "tier" system. Thank you for your insight. Respect!

It would seem that maintenance resets all the pop item costs.

just updated the OP with any new info from the 2 pages or so that were added while I was asleep, many thanks to sleekmotorwurkz for helping keep up etc. I formatted a bit using quote tags to seperate the tiers and such, if someone sees something incorrect please let me know.

so... to find out what we're missing..

assuming stuff that require the same seal to purchase the pop item (ie in the same color group) all drop items that will give you the same color seal...

1. what color does Maroon advance to? no one seems to have mentioned its color..
2. what color does the group above advance to?
3. what color does Salmon advance to?
4. what color does the group above advance to?
5. what is the criteria for tier 4 NMs and how much do they cost?
6. what seals do tier 4 NMs drop, if any?
7. what is the criteria to gain access to the tier 5 NM? (which im most positively certain is Pandemonium Warden)
8. filling up the drop pool :D

This is just a theory, going offa the Oracle's Pants drop.

There are 3 new full sets of Armor. Excluding Hachiryu for now since it's headless.
there are also 3 NM strings.
I think It's possible that the 3 new sets each drop from one of the strings,
Cerb: Aurum
Khim: Oracle's
Hyrda: Enkidu's

It sorta fits, Heavy armor for trolls, Mage armor for Lamia, Light armor for mamools.

It's possible, should this be the case, that they either have a set mob that drops them, or that any of the T3 or the T4 NMs can drop any piece of their respective set.

Just to confirm, go go lack of reading comprehension: Do you have to trade in the seals when you ask for pop items for the higher tier NMs, or do you keep the seals permanently?

When you trade the 100% drop, the seal appears in Temporary Key Items, and you also have access to three new NMs when you talk to him. I'm thinking you lose them when you fight T4 (Tinnin, Tyger, Sarameya), otherwise I don't know why it's temporary.

And I think the costs for each tier starts at around twice the cost of the previous tier, so ~2400, ~4800, ~9600(?) is more accurate.

Kinda glanced around the thread and didnt see this mentioned, does anyone know when Sanraku changes his interest? It appears to be completely random, but im not sure. If it could be predicted that would help alot.

So if the theory is correct that each path leads to 1 of 3 final color seals then it would make sense that an LS should send ppl down each path and a leader pressumably would collect the 3 final colored seals to pop the choice of 3 HNM.

Guessing when he meets a quota. I'm pretty sure he also changed in the middle of the day (didn't wait for midnight), but I might be mistaken.

just checked the NPC, and not only was his interest different but so was the "recommended fauna". Either this was reset by maintenance or changed with the vanadiel day, but yeah, there was no way for people to have traded in pictures of khimaira (the previous recommended fauna on my server) since it never popped. I suppose we'll have to wait until tomorrow (assuming there isn't another maint., lol) to see if it changes at JP midnight or something.

btw if the pattern holds that each tier 1 NM has 2 drops (excluding the automaton which drops an earring and attachments) then there's still 1 drop not accounted for, the other drop from the Slime (the club was found, dunno what the other is...). I'll try to round up some blms to kill it today if people aren't itching to do higher tiers.

feel free to take whatever info you need from the OP for positions (maybe add drops too? i dont know how cluttered it would be if you do), they should be all correct and up to date.
