Sidewinder/Slugshot has a negative accuracy modifier on it, and more TP increases it's accuracy. A lot of RNG like to save to 150 TP before using that WS.

On the other hand, swapping that in for Fire Staff is going to add how much TP to your shots? It's not just hitting 100 TP, but whatever point you're willing to WS, right? If it gets you to 100, 150, or whatever you prefer to fire at sooner, it'll increase your rate of Slugwinding anyway.

Nor would I; however, I would rather it dropped from a T3 or T4 mob leaving more spots open in the pool for awesomeness. Not that ridiculous of an idea considering Aurum Sabatons drop from two T3 mobs and are pretty damn nasty. Perhaps it's a random drop from Sandworm dreamland. The shield from KA makes it seem possible due to its randomness.

This update is killing my productivity at work, I can't wait to get out of here and take pictures of elementals.

We killed it easy with:

Drk, Pld, Thf, Whm, Brd, Smn

I was the drk and I didn't exactly stun the wind shears. Being a taru I died both fights when I got hate and got hit with shears with 1 or no shadows >_> But other than that it was pretty easy!

Getting seals from other people's pops works just fine.

I warped out before Wulgaru's Head dropped to my inventory (bad habit of mine). It dropped to my mule there whom I haven't done anything with but assist in fights. He turned it in for Amber-colored seal and has the option for Tier3's listed. Good thing soul plates can be traded, I'm giving him plates til he can buy a tier3 pop.

Wearing this staff doesnt mean you have to WS at 100%............ and shit, you'd get 150 TP faster with the Store TP, btw I have RNG 75

I went to trade in a friends chigre item that they gave me to unlock the t2's after chigre again so I could solo the marid for my feet (damn you not dropping what i actually want ~.~), however, the old dude wouldnt accept my Chigre drop to unlock the t2s of that path again. Anyone else had something similar happening? Seems a bit of a fucker you cant unlock higher tiers using a specific trigger more than once. Also, I had already used my marid seal to kill a t3.

Uh...I'm guessing you already have the key item (Pine Green seal). And fyi, Chigre item doesn't pop the marid. You need a Maroon seal from puk, colibri or qiqirn.

Nope, they can be from anywhere, but you'll never find the NPC ask for a mob that CAN'T be found in ToAU areas.
