I tried wrong puddings in mount zhayolm, at 5% hp I got 36 zeno each.


Tried low lvl birds got 18-26 zeni at varying HPs. Gonna try birds in sky now, I'll post results.

It's currently believed that each server has their own set of requirements, and that every person of those servers is given the same two mobs to take pictures of..

ok Did higher level birds in sky.

At 45% got 59 zeni.

At 4% from the side got 72% zeni.

At 4% from the front got 75 zeni.

Haven't been able to test my fauna since its in arrapago remnants ;

Smart Idea by SE imo, that way when you get the tougher ones and you don't have a linkshell to help you, there will be others wanting to go also. Be a bit easier to get assault/salvage/isnm runs going

just traded 10 pictures of a diremite (sanraku's interest, not recommended fauna) that was at 10% hp and got 72-73 zeni for each, but couldnt trade the 11th. I traded some earlier, this confirms the cap of 10 pictures per vanadiel day for interests, it's possible the 'recommended fauna' is uncapped.

at this rate I should have enough for a lesser offer in 4-5 hours D:

and yea, confirming what someone said above everyone on the same server will the same offer, which either changes every RL day (jp midnight?) or RL week (conquest?) but obviously no one knows when yet.

Got sicklemoon salt for 500 zeni, went to Woodlands and checked the tablet. Brings you to the separate island (Hazkiah Islet) with a ??? in the middle, appears to be nothing else.

Semi stupid question, does each picture take up 1 inventory spot? Wouldn't if be smart just to snap off as many pictures as possible of the same low hp mob, then just wait to turn them in.

Low HP yields higher Zeni and a higher level mob yields higher Zeni. The difference between an easy prey to 75 and a decent challenge to 75 was ~10 at most, with the highest I got for a decent challenge sapling in Aydeewa Subterrane being 62, at maybe 3%.

Pokemon Snap basics for normal mobs:
1) Stand directly in front of the mob at max melee distance.
2) Take picture.
3) ???
4) Profit.

I'm not sure if it helps but for simple ease of lining up correctly I'm always locked-on in first-person camera mode.
For extremely large beings like Khimaira I'm not sure if the distance would change.

I don't know why one would even speculate about the turn in capacity, as after trying to trade #11 the NPC directly says it will only take 10 per day.

I can verify weakening mobs yields more points, i took the same spiders that were giving me 1 and took one to 1% and each pic gave me 70-72 Zeni.

someone posted that they were able to trade in more than 10 of their "recommended fauna" (qutrubs?), which is why I asked if the day ticked over for him during trading. I know you can only trade in 10 per day of the "sanraku's interest" subject first-hand. Do you know if there are seperate caps for the 2? or is it just 10 plates max per day regardless?

Anyway i updated the OP a bit more, I'll keep doing so as people post more stuff.

Right now on Valefor, we have Merrows as the subject of interest, and the wamoura from ISNM60 Navukgo Execution Chamber as the recommend fauna.
Spent 2k on the ISNM orb, went in to take some pics (bind/gravity/RR), got about 40 points per pic with mob at 100%.
Went to Merrows in Arrapago Reef, duo'd them down to 5%, snapped off a ton of pics, 87 points each. Got 87 points 16 times, 85 points once.
The price for information on different mobs from Sanraku went down from 2000 to 1900 in the last hour, which makes sense considering SE already told us that the prices would go up or down based on how many people buy them.
As soon as the game day changes, I'll have enough to buy information (should have close to 2400 zeni), but I might wait to see how much each it goes up per purchase. Also curious to see which NMs drop which items, etc. - but someone's got to go first and find out for everyone. o.o
