    I've done Cheese w/ 3 people a few times now. Basically you could do it w/ 2 RDM's one /blm and the other /nin (It helps if you have w.legs or something too) I was just along for faster damage even though my 75RNG couldn't hardly hit for shit before he ran off, and I think I annoyed the RDM's by causing him to go unclaimed once or twice. But basically heres the idea:

    Clear any links in the room just above the pop. Then toss on a Bio II / Poison / whatever elemental debuffs. Proceed to G-8 telepoint, once there the RDM/NIN just kites around the telepad, and the /BLM sleeps all the links and then takes the telepad to lose aggro. If you take the telepad, in the next room take the telepad on the left and you will be dumped at F-8. After a bit of kiting Cheese will run back to the spawn laying mines all over the place and then he will come back to the telepad room. Just rest up between the time he leaves you and the time he comes back, DoT and rinse and repeat till hes dead. Pretty easy fight, DoT and nuke when you can, should be about a 45min fight duo.

    bst duo on apkalu,
    we brought leeches from the entrance when we started, then used nippers, and lahama.
    the lahama we had 1 of us charm then 2hr it, then after 30min, release then i'd charm then 2hr.
    lahama beats it severly.
    apkalu seems to follow a pattern, yawn then runs
    when it runs retreat pets and have them /wait for them to heal and give them pet food.
    thats basic strat. btw the apkallu where it pops doesnt link.

    the brass borer, kinda same tactic,
    pop with a carrie out, put carrie on it and run SE from there into the tunnel and through it.
    this time the nearby wamoura do agro,
    after you through the tunnel head west to the area where energetic pops.
    throw the zone at him, it will go down eventually. crab/pug/crawlr

    It was strange though, once the summons were dead; Experimental Lamia would shoot range on the tanks but never use TP moves, and for awhile she stopped attacking at all; we think it is probably glitched. I ended up taking hate around 20%, and that's when sh went back to normal spamming TP moves and such.

    Sorry if anything here has been said already, I just wanted to give a bit more of a heads-up than we got.

    Thanks for posting this. How many did you have and what was basic set up? And how many people do you think are needed to kill each summon?

    Looks like my deductions were correct too .-.

    i'd say its possible, only thing that sucks about this fight is benediction, but if it gets bad, you can always kite him around the watchtower

    Each of the lever doors on the 2nd map requires 6 people at the door.

    The Mamool is a true endurance fight. We had 12 people for the majority of the fight and MP was only a problem for tanks, never our rdms or our whm.

    Our set up was, PLD PLD NIN RDM WHM SMN, BLM BLM BLM BLM RDM BLU then near the end a BLM and WHM showed up to tag it.

    He starts out as a black mage. Typical BLM BS, stands back, casts. You don't need to be in melee range. He nuked me once with Firaga 3 and I had SS up and it nailed me for 850. I'm 75 PLD had shell V. At about 75% he starts to melee. Just start kiting him here, his melee hits don't hit too hard but his WS can do a lot. He also uses manafont.

    I think it was 60% he used Stave Toss and lost his staff. At this point he quit casting black magic and started casting white magic. So that's the point he job changes from BLM to WHM. Also when WHM he is a whm/mnk. So he strips shadows fast. The lower his HP gets, the faster his melee attacks get. He stripped my shadows without either of my timers being close to ready. His melee power is random at best, I noticed he was hitting my PLD without sentinel for 70ish and sometimes he'd hit me for 170, non crit.

    We also kited him in his WHM form. He runs fast but for a while you can bind him but starts to build immunity very quickly. Gravity works for a while but once again, builds an immunity. WHM mode he has Forceful Blow, Groundburst and Firespit as TP moves. Blow hit me for 600 usually. Groundburst did anywhere from 500 to 1200 damage. Never one shotted anyone though. Firespit did 900 to me once through a full Rampart. Firespit is strong but that was the only REALLY strong one I saw.

    I suggest before you start store TP for the PLD to have Chivalry ready when it's needed. He won't sap MP til he's in WHM form. Use the tower to your advantage. Once in a while me and the other PLD would straight tank him trading hate. This allowed mages to rest without having to follow us. No reason this wouldn't work much better if we'd had a bard.

    Oh and Paralyze owned his BLM form. I'd say 75% of his spells got hit with Paralyze and that's not an exaggeration. Also, Benediction did 29,000. I'd guess his HP is around 40,000-45,000.

    As for damage, BLMs weren't resisted much even as the fight went on. Shield bash and stun worked 100%. Spinning Dives were doing 700+. Any form of damage works it seems. I suggested next time we use a Couple Sams and SC + MB him. I wouldn't suggest a Melee Zerg just because of Ground Burst. Back to Back will cripple even PLDs.

    did the mamool early this morning.

    the details Hex gives on it's black mage mode, it's white mage mode, staff throw, and TP moves are all right on.

    we started with pld/nin rdm/nin sam/nin blm/nin, dropped it low enough to benediction, used kite straight the whole time.

    after it used Benediction, my LS finished ballista, so thf/nin and two mnk/nins came out to help, the sam/nin logged because she was sleepy and the pld/nin's sch friend came out for the last 40ish %

    having only myself and the pld to cure was abit of a problem, we killed it but nearly everyone died atleast once, the blm died 4 times <.>;;

    Groundburst took the most lives for sure, we decided that the mnks will chi blast only so they don't have to be close to it for groundburst to pop off, groundburst does 700-900 damage- shadows don't absorb it, etc.

    I think the best thing is to have range/mages attack from a distance away from the tower as the mamool comes by, whoever has hate kite it around the tower, that should minimize how many people take groundburst damage.

    he starts curing himself after 20%, but I think he only cure V/curaga IVed himself 8-10 times then stoped curing and focused on other spells again (holy, banishga III, banish III, dia(ga) II, and buff spells)

    Stun works, so highly suggested to have more then 1 stunner.

    Dropped Red Gsword(naglering?), Light grip, water grip

    Kirin strategy would work well here (he's about as hard to kite), resisted stuns 100% after just a short while so I'd advise saving them for cures only so no NIN/DRK kiter, RDM/NIN or w/e with magic set on

    This Cerb can use Chainspell and Firaga II/III, Flare II and Burn. Uses all the standard Cerb TP moves. At 10% it goes insane and can use Chainspell Gates Of Hades (We seriously had like 10 go off in a row) then had to zombie it for awhile.

    for mamool did people break his weapon or not? honestly my ls found him a joke tanks said after stave broke he didnt hit hard at all.

    Me and the other tank both had aegis and ShellV so it was fine but the rest of the alliance would get hit hard at times.

    After being under 50% and doing a 25k benediction and getting him back to about 50% it broke, I didn't get hit before then really so I couldn't tell you but he didn't hit hard and fire spit always did 270~to me with stoneskin on a couple of times tho so +200-350 with no shell or barfira
