Has anyone made it to t5 yet?
So far as I've seen no one has more then 1 of the tier5 set. We hve the tyger item and are doing 2 hydras today.
Anyone find out what the trigger is for the latent on the triple attack scythe yet?
yeah! i just got the dagger last night and can comfirm that the latent of the qutrub weapons is infact ORANGE hp.![]()
sexy dagger none the less!
Didn't someone already say that the trigger for the Scythe latent isn't low hp? Or am I just imagining things?
A week of killing these things and no record of a single drop of Crapaud Earring >.< I was certain it was going to be found on the Porroggo NM. Anyone seen any instance of this drop?

Since crit hits remove heads and they happen more often with Ridills? Go with a DEX/crit hit build, but you prolly don't even need that.
Dunno, most of the 6 man fights I've read about vs Hydra on these boards include at least one Ridill. As stated: "Ridills rape Hydra." So perhaps your Ridill WARs aren't gearing for it properly.
How many 6-man fights have y'all done?
PS Roundel Earring dokodoko
disregard, read incorrectly
Tinnin does not appear to be entirely similar to the normal Hydra in all respects. The method by which it respawns heads, in the beginning at least, appears to almost be HP / time based. We've killed Hydra a number of times and we found the fight to be quite different, at least sizeably different when you consider they are indeed the same mob type: head respawning method, nerve gas usage the whole time, virtually no magic resistance, etc.Since crit hits remove heads and they happen more often with Ridills? Not sure why even a need for that comment i was re-inforcing what sath said about Ridills and dual wield sucking on Tinnin as opposed to Hydra and Xajii was also gonna take 2 ridill war and to tell him blm worked better. My stupid blue sword worked fine when low manned Hydra with a 2x Ridill and Apoc, its an easy fight im just giving my experiences on the Hydra ZNM.
As for this has anyone cut a head off it after it regrows? not that im sure you would want to if it heals 25% again, in that respect melee wont even be worth it. Second head regrew at 40%, cant remember when third head repopped, was it the same for other groups?.

im dumb :D
If the Hydra Clone really has no real Regen, I'm thinking bout bringing a couple SC ppl and blms and just do it that way. Esp since ppl are reporting that nukes do just fine. Seems safest way and probably most efficient. I think this update is tryin to have people use SC + MB more often.
Possible, though I'm happy that melees now have Ixion without the real option to toss BLMs at it.Originally Posted by Hex
Quite a few. Raging Rush and Tachi Gekko is just sex and respawned heads never stay very long. We always liked the lowered TP feed while still maintaining the same - maybe even better - amount of damage output when our WARs used GAxe.Originally Posted by Ashira
But Hydra discussions aren't really part of this thread. It's a pushover, so do whatever suits you.
What TP moves does it do? And can u gravity it easy? Wondering if we should go duo runs, with rdm + blm, 2smn or rdm + ninOriginally Posted by Eldelphia
Tonn, I have personally done 6-man with Ridill and NIN sub tank, it works just fine. And no, crit hit build is not needed lol.Originally Posted by TB
