Shadowbind works, but if hes running back to mine and you Shadowbind him he keeps dropping bombs in that one spot and if anyone is near it they usually die quickly. I think the easiest strategy is the one I posted a few pages ago. Heres the linkOriginally Posted by eva00r

i thought i read you treat it like a madame in zhaolym remnants. try to use stun WS and spells to block his charmga move and if it fails, make sure he has a DoT on it so he won't regen.Originally Posted by Juront

Nope. It is however, rather easy with the right setup (mana burn) as mentioned earlier. Done him with 6 (BLM BLM SCH RDM THF BLU). First clear the 2 adjacent rooms. Then, Have the mages stand behind one of the pillars (In the ??? passage) while the "Semi tank" grabs initial hate and fights the rat near the middle (At this point, the BLMs can start Nuking and DoTing). After a couple minutes, the rat will run off to one of the rooms. At this point, do not follow it. Have the mages move to the set of pillars opposite the room the rat ran to (I've noticed, that the rat will continue to run to the same room most of the time). In about 20s, Gigiroon will come back and continue wailing on whoever has hate as though nothing even was wrong.is bomber rat sleepable/gravityable/bindable?
Really? It used a lot of Seismic Tail in the beginning along with Vile Belch (? may have the name wrong, believe it was slow and silence + dmg), then when we ran it over to the Emperor Apkallu area, it spammed Leeching Current making the fight a battle of attrition. I think it successfully used Deathgnash like twice. It was extremely easy. The only TP move he did was the one were he leaves you with 1 HP.

Agreed lol
A guy that came with us was actually going to edit otherwiki b/c of the fight. We went there just for shits and giggles to pop him and then looked up the strat when we got there. We were a little put off by by the Vile Belch Seismic Tail shit. We thought it was a bullshit write-up b/c it didn't use anything but Deathgnash lol.Really? It used nothing but the 1 TP move the entire time to my knowledge. I know 100% sure it didn't use any AOE, I was meleeing it the whole time on monk. Deathgnash was used pretty frequently, but like I said it wasn't a big problem.
We had PLD, MNK, BLM, WHM, RDM, MNK, SAM, BST, THF, DRK, WAR, and NIN.
I'm sure it's more people than most are bringing, but we just grabbed whoever wanted to try the fight out in the Linkshell, and ended up w/ quite a bit of people lol.
He only didn't melee when we were just out of range of his melee attacks. He didn't even try to step forward either (sometimes he did when he summoned and the pathing pushed him forward but just step back and you should be good). Kinda like JoL, just keep your distance but not too far. Really easy too tank when all he does is stand there and look at you and maybe cast the occasional spell. The summons were far more of an issue till we got that part down.Originally Posted by chapstick
I asked about soloing this a few pages back, but still I'm not sure if it's possible. How hard is it to avoid it's TP moves? What moves go through shadows? Does it have regain? Someone said it was fairly easy to kite, so with w.legs do you think it would be possible to keep adequate distance on it?
What "it" are you referring to?Originally Posted by Waef
Sorry, by "it" I'm referring to Nuhn.
It is extremely easy to kite around that center rock pillar thing. W legs aren't really needed. Just make sure healers are on the ball with clearing status effects. TP moves really aren't an issue either kiting.
I know a RDM can solo Iriz Ima but could a SMN or even two SMNs take it too? Or would carby/fenrir die too fast.

Just solo'd Dea. Very easy. Gravity does land for those wondering, and you can easily gain distance by hugging the postern. Definitely possible to do without w legs. My blizzard3's were doing 772 on iceday, each taking about 2% hp off. Took me about an hour to solo, including the pull.

The discovery of the Lambton Worm makes me think nothing from this update is even in the Pendemonium Warden loot pool. I don't think we've seen the extent of what this worm can drop.
