If that's true there will never be a Nyzul Relic untill Alexandrite gets another way of being obtained. En Masse. Won't get easier as time goes on at this rate, since you will have more then 1 person interested in keeping them for themselves/buying any for sale.

I've seen tons of Alexandrite for sale, but none under 100~50k... 0~5 drops per Salvage is a joke. It should drop like half-rate of Dynamis currency (1/2 rate just for the reason that you can do Salvage every day).

I think it's fairly certain at this point that we're not meant to complete the objectives yet. There will obviously be an update that adds alexandrite drops significantly or somehow otherwise makes completing the quests possible. We're just going to have to wait until they decide they are ready to let us have our relics.

I don't know why people are still talking about it as if it's feasible in its current state... the quote has the correct answer. The relics aren't even in the game yet, unless they're blank and worse damage/delay than MUCH easier to obtain weapons are.

Honestly I'm thinking this as well. They're more than likely going to make this into a Dynamis system: 1s are fairly common, with rare drops of 100s off certain mobs (possibly Ramparts). It'd make sense, and the randomness of 100s would make the path to Alexandrites easier yet still time consuming. To make this work, however, they'd have to make all mobs drop 1s, not just ramparts/gears. This could really change how Salvage is done, especially for groups that enter with 5 or less (making farming alexandrites/NMs efficiently next to impossible).

It's pretty obvious from the quest text and the fact that there's no texts in the DAT files saying "You did ALL the stuff!"

You'd think you'd need to do everything he asked for, but he asked for FOUR things:
1. Eyepatch
2. Nyzul Token Book
3. Assault Memoirs
4. Alexandrite

So I'm 100% sure as only one task needed to complete, unless SE just sucks at math.

Actually, after checking the dats, I would say you have to do the four tasks. Paparoon is saying "three jobs" because the Eyepatch seems not required at the same time as the three others items. When you first meet her, Paparoon will ask the Areuhat book from Nyzul, the five Memoirs from Assaults and the 50k (lol) Alexandrites.

"What will you ask about?
Alexandrite gems.
Wyrmseeker Areuhat.
Assault memoires.
Holy relics.
No explanations required."

After that she will give an invitation to the palace.

The Eyepatch is asked but it seems to be at a different time or for a different purpose, because she says she remembers you before asking it.

Also the "three" in "three jobs" probably got switched with numerist pumps "4" in "+4 hmp."
Another lost in translation error, that's my guess.

Yes, I saw that, and read through the thread to find it before posting my reply. "Holy Relics" actually is the eyepatch.

As for the person saying they turned in a book, yeah, like I'm gonna believe that they did without anyone else getting wind of it and being posted in this thread 100 times over.

And there's the quest book entry that says "A multitude of paths lay open before you." I don't know why they'd put that in if you had to do all of them. It seems to indicate that there are different ways of finishing this quest.

lol, yeah I'm wrong it seems to be a translation error I've been influenced by the lines order in the dat. This is not present in french though. In french Paparoon says "all jobs" instead of "three" and Numerist Pumps description is correct. ^^'

that's the text you get after you go back to paparoon after the initial cutscene and he describes what you need. It's just recapping the CS is all.
