Today's Sandworm

Think this was our 19th or 20th Sandworm. One of the PLDs that was left out says that the only times he's been left out were when he was casting magic as Doomvoid went off. He's pretty observant so maybe it's a way to avoid it.

Sorry if this was mentioned before, but has anyone tried killing the NQ sandworm before it sucks you in? Theres quite a long list of items that haven't been discovered and its possible that SE put them in on it?

Anyone got the guts to try this? I'm pretty sure one SC and 10 MB would kill it @25-30%. It would be the biggest slap in the face if the Cuchulain items drop from killing sandworm :D

That makes it easy. All you need to do is stun Doomvoid, and he'll die. If he doesn't drop anything, then you know he has no loot pool (or you're very unlucky).

i don't think that counts as killing it because when it does doomvoid and sucks everyone in, it stays up for about 10sec unclaim before it falls to the ground. We've claimed it before and it just dies without giving a title. Unless the sandworm wangler title is unattainable now.

I always had the sneaking suspicion that you need at least one person in the alliance with the "Sandworm Wrangler" title (Doesn't need to be active) in oder to be Doomvoided. Has there been an alliance that's killed it where no one had the title? Since there was interest in killing the actual worm, that may be a way to do it.

I mean other than SE just adding the 'BC' aspect to the worm, it seems wierd to have an unattainable title.

Theres a slight difference though. Sandworm Wrangler was easily obtainable before and now it seems impossible.

This would take forever and what not, but you could poison/bio it to death. Bio would do base dmg giving it TP, but it doesn't use doomvoid until it reaches low %, after it is about 40% just poison it to death, and make sure it doesn't hit you or anything for TP. It has also been said to become raged after a long time, if this is true all you have to do is have 1 person lose hate on it completely, let it lose aggro, then reclaim it, and timer is reset. Although this would take much longer than anyone would want to do it in, it is 100% possible.

One LS on Alexander claimed Sandworm right after the change occurred and was the first to fight it. What did they do? They stunned Doomvoid...

Yeah, BLM Stunned and not even a second after it readies Doomvoid, depopped or something, we got it a lot of times after tho lol

My LS Has 7 Sandworm kills now all with different people in alliance and as far as I know, no one in the LS even has the title from before the change since no one cared to kill it. Doomvoid always reliably goes off at just under 25%.

Yesterday a LS member and I saw a JP shell with Sandworm. He was there from 90% on and I arrived at the very end. Sandworm was killed without ever using Doomvoid. I don't remember who killed but I do remember seeing "XXX DEFEATS the Sandworm." They stood around for a few seconds and started warping people. They don't like NA so they wouldn't say anything to us. Anyone else heard of it not doing Doomvoid at all?
