NPC WOTG Access, Limit Break and new "Fellow Point" system

I killed another Yagudo level 71 - 73 with my level 63 NPC. I received 65 exp and he should have received 300 exp however upon checking my Fellow Points after that kill, I only gained 215 Fellow Points.

So it seems my theory of Fellow Points being NPC Exp + Player Exp is incorrect. Anyway I'm out of tactics pearl charges, so I'll be unable to further test the points formula for now.

Which areas in the past can and can't be used? Is it just no dungeon zones or instances?

That seems to equal your xp + half of the npc's xp.

Don't think it was said in this thread but has anyone figured out any prereq for text from the bard npc >.>. Talking to him now with signal/tactics equipped(and unequipped) and all he mentions is that he wants a new kind of story to tell...

Yes, I didnt have the tactic pearl quest flagged before the update, flagged it after the update, you now get a key item in your inventory to let you know you have the quest active (there was previously no way to tell if you had it active.)

Regarding the Fellow points being retroactive:

I leveled my NPC from ~35 to 58 all over the last month or so, and I had just under 100,000 points total the first time I talked to the NPC Item guy in RuLude. (Ajahkeem).

So the theory about it only being retroactive for recent leveling activity is definitely looking good...

So did they change it so you can lock all 5 pieces of armor yet?

There were 3 lockable equips. The headpiece always was an extra choice. Now you can lock the 4th, too by Fellow Points.

I should have done more exact points but had ~19k when I first talked to the bard (did all of my leveling to 65 right after each respective limit break for it). Did the new limit, and did 3 full calls on Tragopans and had ~32k points. That's good stuff, more than I was expecting to get anyways.

What I want to know are the armor tier's beyond level 10. I had full darksteel on Khuma when update hit, so was kinda lucky. I had body, hands, feet locked and pants just happened to be on it too. I'm sure as fuck not upgrading to Adaman and all I'm seeing is Hachiman on other wiki.
