Ahahaha, I used to camp this guy back in the day when I was trying to make a Light Resist setup for Proto-Ultima(back in the day, a couple years ago at least, back off >_>).

I camped him at least 40 hours(not straight), doing what you said, and have never seen it pop. Good luck, lol.

I spent an hour or two trying to pop him on Sunday night with no luck before going to kill the Boreal mobs before going to bed. Then yesterday I logged on and he popped after killing one round of PHs. So he does exist there, he's just a whore I guess.

The Ahriman popped after one round of place holders for me.

Ixtab on the other hand was a total bitch and I spent a total of 12 hours camping it, 8 of them being consecutive with no pop. Finally nabbed it after a maintenance when I knew its window would be open.

Picked this up about 2 weeks ago, have not even bothered with it since reading the rewards. When are they gonna add another quest reward like the Walahra Turban? Now THAT was worth spending the time doing pointless rubbish for! Honestly, a quest of this magnitude needs to award you with at least something more than 60k.

Walahra Turban wasn't a quest reward and you didn't have to spend extra time doing anything since the coins come from Besieged and meriting.

Not all quests are meant to be sources of endgame rewards or even item rewards at all. Pretty sure SE doesn't care if most people don't do this one.
