Campaign OP Adjustments

Have the Crystal Fist Recipes changed, or have I been incredibly unlucky?

I've only done Crystal Fist 20ish times before (GS) and the only recipes I had gotten that weren't on the normal list were a couple of basic gems. Went back two times after the update, and got two completely different recipes straight up...

I've been stuck with Stock and Awe IV for a week now. The requested item is orc pauldron. Not one has been sold on any AH on any server. Anybody know where these drop?

Ok to follow up. I'm assuming at this point there is something wrong and these are just not dropping how they are supposed to. None ever listed on any AH, on any server. So I call a GM to ask if this is a known issue or if others have reported this. He says when it comes to drops, he is not allowed to give any info. I say, that's fine. I am not asking about drop rate or where it drops from. I just want to know IF IT DROPS AT ALL. I ask if he could just tell me if it is a known issue or not. Nothing else, just yes or no. He's very sorry, but he can't even tell me that. He couldn't even tell me if there is an issue or if it is functioning properly as far as they know. Apparently me having to slaughter orcs for hours on end to no avail because of a possible glitch is ok though.

Idk last week they weren't available when we owned more zones. I would guess they open if your nation owns the beastmen stronghold. That would be obscenely rare though, so hopefully not.

"In response to our reclaiming of regions surrounding the capital" seem to imply you need to lose many regions and get them back. It might be why it wasnt up last week. Might just be Wing 3 or 4....guess we will know soon.


I don't know what SE thought when they made Ops. I like to complete everything, but certains ops never appeared in the list in 6months (ie: brave dawn III, crafter II+). I'm currently stuck with 48 differents ops completed, and don't know what to do to get the rest.

I had done "Brave Dawn I" and "Granite Rose I" the first week WotG was released and now, at "Brass Wings of Service §," I have yet to ever see II or III of either of those Ops. Never did Pit Spider I, nor have I ever seen II or III of that as well, but I assumed that was my fault.

I lied when I said "Brave Dawn III" never appeared. The one time I could pick it, I lost the fight to some retarded bullshit (scorpion did 1400dmg ws, one shotting the npc). But still...there is like 15 more Ops that never appeared.

I dont think your actions have any impact on what Ops show up, it just depend of your nation's needs, and what territory they own. Considering everyone spam the same easy ops over and over, there is no hope the situation ever change since the same stats will be capped all the time

I had never seen Granite Rose II at all until this update. And not until I completed Granite Rose I after the update, then after turning Granite Rose II, I got the option to Granite Rose III. So I wouldn't say your actions are totally worthless

That's weird. I've done the "I" version of those many times, but the 2nd and 3rd never appeared. I will try again..nothing else to do with those tags anyway.

The same thing happened with Slaughterhouse post-update, it had never appeared before at all for San d'Oria Ops, but after tally it came up. I was only able to access tier 1, then after completing, I got tier 2, than 3 etc.

Up to 3 weeks prior the patch, no Ops in that category had appeared for me. When Sandoria got destroyed and lost most areas, all 3 slaughter house and hawk eyes appeared for the first time. I remember doing them out of order in case the higher one would dissapears. I started with slaughter III/hawk eyes III and followed with lower rank. Before the end of the tally, all of them were gone. They appeared again this week when Sandoria lost everything, but disappeared soon after.

It's possible you need to complete the lowest tier to open the higher one, but it might open them for everyone. 10 people doing I open the II, and 10 people doing II open III..or something like this. I'm pretty sure it's not the first time I see higher ops appears when I havent done the lowest one.


On another note, I was able to complete both supply IV (2 ladybug wings, and 12 black bread). Both opened soon after sandorian ran out of supply (0/300)

Isn't (shouldn't?) the availability of Brave Dawn based upon how many troops we need to train to replace fallen ones or how low on the priority list the city training new troops is (hence them assigning us to do the training)? Windurst has been getting slaughtered hardcore these last weeks, and with it copious amounts of dead NPCs. One would assume that this would put Brave Dawn ops at a higher necessity, making them available?

Is that not how Campaign Op availability works?

e.g. Fortification damage = More available "Steel Resolve"
e.g. People using up temp items = More available Item-Procurement catagory ops?

Or, is Op-Availability entirely based upon what people suggest Primary/Secondary military focus is? Such as, suggesting we focus on training troops = more Brave Dawns will pop up?

I would say both. One determine the mimimum requirement, and the other determine if they are avaible or not

From today's update:
"- Increased the minimum rewards that can be received through Campaign Ops."

Hope they're back to at least pre-June-update rewards now.

Edit: Just did a 1 star Iron Anvil III (Windurst) for 341exp

Yeah, got 341 exp from a Slaughterhouse III, so it looks like the old values are the minimum, and anything from higher numbers of stars is just a bonus.

It's not a huge deal but just a dumb little bug I noticed. I'm on Limit Points mode... I turned in my item to the Quartermaster for "Stock and Awe IV (W)" during a city-campaign battle since he doesn't depop. He rewarded me with experience points instead of limit points. Hmph.
