Images not showing up?

Hello! For some reason some images aren't loading for me, and instead it just shows the word "image" is this happening to anyone else? I think most of the ones that this is happening to me with are imageshack files but i really didn't check all of them to see if it was only imageshack.

That happens to me sometimes when my connection is really, really slow (or I assume the site the images are coming from is nearly down).

firefox?
disable all plugins while you troubleshoot the issue
it could be one adblock or noscript blocking them (or something else)
also go to about:config in your address bar and type 'image' into the filter, and check if anything has been changed from default (it will be bolded)
also check tools->options->content and make sure "load images automatically" is checked.

i've long since given up on this here at work, i'm assuming it's slow connection but right clicking and refreshing has never worked for me

internet explorer, no blocking stuff that i'm aware of, and it's not even all images, it's quite random so i never know if someone posted a crappy link/exceeded bandwidth or if it's crappy comp here
