Couple of questions

Yeah, I found that guide after posting (missed the link at the bottom of wiki). Very useful to pick your feral skill.

40/75 points total left. The current champion is aN attack speed + enspell (50dmg) OpoOpo that is tearing everything apart. I was thinking about doing +25 str (17 points) and en-shell (17 points), or maybe en-shel(17)+beast killer (7points).

It was doing 50 damage enspell WITH phalanx on? Was it fully leveled? If so he probably had plates to enhance the enspell damage. If that's the case then shell will definatly ruin it since shell should reduce dmg first, then phalanx if it follows the normal math for that stuff.

50 dmg before phalanx, 35 with phalanx I believe.

Is shell always dispelled before other buff like it's on player? It's kinda nice to lose it first before stoneskin/phalanx.

I always thought things were dispelled in the order they were put on? like if a mob puts up shell then does a defence boost, you dispel the def boost will go away because its most recent.

For pnakration, I think its actually a set order. I have a eva/dispell chigeo and it always dispells effects in this order (if it doesnt just burn through them first): Blink > Spikes > Stoneskin > Protect/Shell > Phalanx [Any buff the mob puts up from an ability always comes off immediatly]

Is there any way to stop my RDM mob from casting refresh on himself 4 times instead of Cure IV? Have him set to Guard! Block! Parry! Hold! but he refuses to cure himself before casting refresh and regen 20 times.

I guard block parry hold should make it heal if it is below 70% HP~ with a pet thats extremely defensive and some form or tame. If it isnt already in defnsive temperment try "Think then think again" and see what it does?

the closest I can relate to that is a PLD crab that was extremely tame/defensive, with no commands it would protect2/shell2 then just heal itself and use scissor guard and bubble curtain. Try not spamming commands, just give it a single command in either the tame direction or the defensive direction and watch and see what it does.

He's already extremely tame and extremely defensive.

if its alread extremely tame/defensive and it just spams buffs and doesnt heal when you dont tell it anything I dont know what to say. you can try moving it toward somewhat tame, but I dont think that would help, that would make it toss some enfeebles maybe, but you want heal spam, which with that temperment it should do if you dont tell it anything.

Is there a max to "attack speed"? I'm tempted to add a "attack speed +50" to my enpetrify chigoe that already have "attack speed bonus" trait

I dunno Athas, regen should be somewhat defensive. TBH I think there are still some bugs in pankration that have always been there and crab is a mob I have always assumed can be/is bugged. Try making him aggressive then defensive again, or try another crab or perhaps a weapon instead for RDM.

-Stoneskin (17 FP)
-Enpetrify (58 FP)

Could remove stoneskin and have 45 points, but I find this risky against spellcaster or on match where petrify wouldnt proc.


-1st question: How much double attack would I get if I give it /war and war trait. It cost 20 points and would give my chigoe some more damage and more hit.
-2nd question: Can I use sleep attack on top of petrify attack? I know both cant proc on the same hit, but I was thinking both would have a chance to proc on different hit.

you should consider bulking up on Attack/STR plates or change it to war/ or drk/ to get some more attack out of (drk/ also makes it so your pet might get aspir cast at it instead of drain). I've done the enpetrify chigeo nd against the really heavey built elementals still hit for zero dmg. and only thing it wont proc on is greater bird that i know of.

-1: I would give the same as a /war player. imo its not worth it on a chigeo since they attack pretty fast already.
-2: No. you can only have one additional effect or spike effect at the same time. this only gets wierd with stoneskin and dreadspikes they stack in a wierd way, no drain effect until the stoneskin is gone.
-3: with current level cap yes, and its useless unless you have a complete evasion build, and 58FP for pentro makes that impossible.
-4: imo Attack Bonus > STR Bonus > STR+25 > Attack+15%
