Frankly, it makes me giggle, cuz what's more fun than wielding a freakin' huge cleaver style GKT while hopping around waving your arms in the air?

Personally I think this update has been the worst thing SE has ever done. I know there are a lot of people out there saying this is the best thing SE has ever done, but really? I hate to play the bad guy in this, but i'm sorry guys, I just dont see the value of this patch, there was absolutly no need for SE to put in the effort to add weapons back to /dance emotes. People have been saying that this is the best thing ever, probably the best thing since they added DRG and PUP dances.. but really? Was the extra space needed for weapons on the back of FFXI characters when they dance? Take for instance the elvaans and their scythes; now I know that this is a real sticky issue, but really guys? Do you like it now that you have it? Youve been asking for years for wanting weapons on your back when you dance, but how do you feel about it now? When you dance there is just so much clipping going on, I mean if this was real you guys would be dead! How can you sleep at night knowing that? Guys you need to take this topic a little bit more seriously, this isnt a joke, and we shouldnt be treating it like one. I know it's hard to stand up for what you believe in, but I believe in a world.. no an FFXI world that we can have both great dancing abilities, without the need to kill ourselves with weapons on our backs! MLK said he had a dream, well I have one too! We should be free from this pain, from this suffering, no longer should we have to take this. Weapons on our back is a serious issue, and I hope people will start to see this.

Well, they adjusted something in the dancing animation .dats, weapons no longer disappear during /dance1-4.

Leave it to a taru to notice this, dancing fools that we are.
