you don't. Use real windower (windower.net) and hit print screen to take a picture.

I'm on Vista and I've never been able to have ffxi load up in windower. The second ffxi starts, it stops.

To take a screen shots on any version of the game hit "scroll lock" and the chat should clear off the screen. Then hit "print screen" key and you should see the Square logo flash at the bottom. The pictures themselves are stored in the "screen shot" folder that you can access from the top of the Playonline menu after you exit the game. Go to top of screen pol menu screen, right hand side where you see email, friend list etc and there is a folder icon. In there is your screen shots that you can then click on and attached to a email message. You can attach up to 10 and then you just do the icon for email on that screen to send them to yourself.

This works for all versions of the game. On the PC version you can find the folder the go into also using the file manager, but I think its lot easier just email them.
